Betweem this, the RE4 'HD' PC release and the REMaster it does seem that Capcom is in a very confused state about the series at the moment.

All the while the most talked about horror game on the block is the new Silent Hill, the new Alien title is on the horizon, a remake of the original Alone In The Dark (please be fixed camera) is coming, Day Z is dominating the zombie survival genre on PC and FPS horror games have been popular on the PC for a good few years.

Capcom really need to stop dithering about with this series and make some damn progress.

It's legit as far as I know. The game has been in production for a while so the timing fits. Its existence was also leaked last month on a Russian retailer-- along with DmC Ultimate Edition. I imagine CAPCOM are saving them for TGS.

I was thinking the same, it looks very similar to an area of the Prison level from SH Downpour.

I won't believe it without a teaser, character render, or in-game screenshots, I'm already sick of fake covers after "Outbreak Tall Oaks", "Enhanced Veronica" and all that unbelievable shit.

It's real. It should be obvious by just the quality of the boxart and the in-game render.

Yeah I can confirm I could access the file directly from Xbox's site before they took it down.

Exciting stuff! it will be interesting to see how they take feedback from REV1 for this entry, mainly the action segments. The boxart has great vibes and makes me interested to see if an old face has found themselves in a dire situation.

Hopefully more information or a trailer at TGS.

I'd hope so, I mean, the first RE:Revelations was on 3DS. It'd be weird if they didn't release it on there too... you know, I still need to play the first one, speaking of.

Despite being a 3DS owner I would rather this game be developed for consoles.
