He's been vocal about how it differs from RE4.
Although I still feel that he and alot of the RE community don't realise when RE4 was at it was at its horror best. It was in the village and the enemies were spawning in at a high rate and the player was constantly forced to retreat to building and room and barracde themselves in. At that point in games crow control had required the player to be aggressive, or on the retreat.
TEW looks like the rest of RE4 in the Silent Hill universe, which is a massive shame."Stories of imagination tend to upset those without one."
