Thing is, survival horror outside of indie games, doesn't generally tend to do well. This isn't the late 90s where capcom can just ignore meh sales. Even though 6 didn't do as well as they wished, it still sold over 3 million copies. With the main series, they want profit first.

I sincerely hope the censorship will go away. Gory headshots with heads still attached to the bodies just don't feel right.
The mysterious voice does indeed sound a little like Ada, but is much deeper. I don't think it's her nor Carla.
Gameplay is good, it's a fine mix between REV1 (health system) and RE6 (free camera, sprint), with simple melee mechanics ala RE4 and a nice "command" dodge : it basically works like Alyssa's backstep, except you can also side step and forward step. Useless to climb stairs though, if you know what I mean.

What were you expecting? The Yellowbrick road?
No need to be facetious if you simply don't share the same point of view. The issue I take is that it doesn't look like a prison. It doesn't consistently look like anything. Both Code Veronica and RE4 executed a much more believable design without compromising their respective level progression.

The earlier games and especially the Outbreak series created something that remained relatively believable while fitting the way the scenario should progress. It really comes down to personal preference, and I'm just not excited about what I see.Last edited by The Patriot; 09-30-2014, 01:04 PM.
