My interest in this game is lessening due to shit like this, the season pass nonsense, and the extra costume via purchasing clothing crap.-_-

Seems they're turning Raid mode into Candy Crash or any of those shitty Pay to Win games, So you can't beat a Raid mission? well, no problem, spend real money buying some continues so everytime you die you don't have to restart the whole mission.
This, and the 15 dollar DLC (15 dollars just for a recycled RE5 Wesker for Raid mode, recycled stages from RER/RE6 and some extra costumes) are already killing the game.
I hope most people is not that stupid to fall into these things, because that's the only way they'll stop this bullshit.Last edited by Lanzagranadas; 01-28-2015, 06:40 PM.

News flash : Capcom and, more generally, the videogame industry are greedy.
Just like Sly said, who the fuck aside from noobs are going to buy life crystals?
Man, you have a whole new RE for only 25 bucks and people are still complaining. Incredible.Last edited by Grem; 01-28-2015, 07:18 PM.

25 dollars is for 4 (+2) episodes in crap digital release plus an incomplete Raid mode. The whole game will cost from $40 onwards, depending on the store/retailer.
Hopefully I'm wrong, but I think it's very optimistic to believe they're going to include michrotransactions only to sell "life crystals for noobs". I bet they're going to open a Raid mode store so if you get tired of grinding and want to level up faster you can buy experience boosts, or if you can't find some rare weapon you can buy it with real money, and eventually some people will fall and pay. I mean, the same crap that most free MMORPGs do but with the big difference that RER2 is not a free MMORPG.
Well, it's Capcom so I guess I should expect the worst possible scenario.Last edited by Lanzagranadas; 01-28-2015, 07:59 PM.

Raid Mode missions aren't that long and hard anyway. You only have yourself to blame if you buy these crystals, so I'm perfectly fine with this. The moment they start locking out weapons and skills upgrade behind a paywall, instead of having them as normal item drops, is the moment I'm going to bitch.Seibu teh geimu?

Only if you decide to buy the crystals. Haha. Buy the game, and then don't buy any of the microtransactions crap. The statistics should make the message clear to Capcom. Honestly, choosing not to buy the game at all will only serve to tell them that we hate the game in general. $40 (or $30, if you're buying on certain sites, on PC) sounds like a good price to me for 6 episodes + 200 raid mode stages.Seibu teh geimu?

You can ignore it but that doesn't mean it'll no longer happen. I ignored DLCs for years, in fact I just bought one DLC in my life (and it wasn't for a Resident Evil game) and did companies stop making DLCs? no, they're getting bigger and more expensive each time.
Same with these michrotransactions, you can easily skip that dumb respawn crystals but the moment they start to lock rare weapons, custom parts or faster leveling boosts then many people will fall like fools and will buy.

Too late : they already did. In REV1.

^ Aren't those guns just a bunch of weakass starting weapons? Same with the equipment set. You can still acquire all of those by playing the game normally, you just don't get the silly FBC/STARS/BSAA logo on the guns though. I'm talking about exclusive weapons and other enhancements that can't be acquired through normal gameplay, like Lanzagranadas said. Adding a pay-to-win scheme to a fully-priced retail game would just be disgusting.Seibu teh geimu?

My concern is that they will make certain weapons and upgrades extremely rare in an effort to encourage microtransaction purchases. Still not seen a game that hasn't been negatively affected by them when put in at design stage.Last edited by Dracarys; 01-29-2015, 03:34 PM.Beanovsky Durst - "They are not pervs. They are japanese."
