No kidding, you need better logic.

The other Wesker children are dead. Alex leaving is what causes Spencer to lure Albert to him, knowing he'd be killed. So Alex caused his death, indirectly maybe, but he wouldn't be dead if Alex hadn't abandoned him.

It doesn't matter what people think about the plot. People think there's a possibility of Annette being alive because of a goofy mistranslation, and most people are unaware that the G-Virus' purpose was to create an evolved human race, among so many other misconceptions. Ignorance (not in a bad way, either) does not affect the actual story-- in which Christine Henry is the one person responsible for sending HUNK to steal the G-Virus.

I understand it fine-- that it's total nonsense.

I dunno what makes me think that. Probably the game outright saying it... maybe.

Except people do care. You personally not caring has no impact.
Actually, no. Henry had her very own story. She wasn't a random name, she was a full character.

Patrick's Memoirs 3 is written after Spencer's Memoirs 4. Alex leaves in the latter, Spencer lures Albert in the former. Not hard to understand.

So you admit Alex was a full character? Great! So we're in agreement then. You can't say Alex is a "nobody" without saying Spencer and half the characters in the series are also "nobodies."

You keep using the word "logic" but I don't think you know what it means. You're barely stringing a point together and keep using that excuse to hide the fact that your point is lacking.

How do you know Alex was only meant to appear in files? Christine is the opposite, she was already a character and she already appeared in a story. The files merely referenced the story.

The length of time doesn't matter one single bit. Game development is not quick and different writers worked on BIO5 and BIO6. Spoiler:
Same reason Yasuhisa Kawamura was not allowed to write about Rebecca in BIO3.

Spencer didn't show up in anything but beta and Japanese material for the first five years the series existed. Which coincidentally makes him even less of a character at that time than Alex was in BIO5 going by your goofy logic, at least Alex was mentioned in-game.

If they're mentioned at all, they are "actual" characters. They exist in the series universe, and that's all they need. That's all there is to it.

"Wasn't released in the US" is completely irrelevant. CAPCOM gives zero fucks about the US when it comes to story.

That's bullshit, REV2 has different writers. Who's the writer you're talking about?

Tsukasa Takenaka. He wasn't lead writer on BIO5 either.
