  • Resident Evil 5 PC Migrates to Steamworks; Gold Edition content up for purchase.

I know it's April Fool's, but this actually happened some days ago. I just got around to posting it!

So, no longer is RE5 PC constrained by Games for Windows Live, first of all, but now the PC users can finally enjoy Lost in Nightmares, Desperate Escape and Mercenaries Reunion! I put so many hours into Mercs Reunion that I can hardly count on the 360, so it'll be nice to jump back into it on PC. I've been wanting RE5 DLC on PC for years, and we finally got it!

If anyone wants to play sometime, let me know!

It's great they ported this finally to PC. Bad news is that they're selling it at 15 dollars, pretty much overpriced for a 2009 game DLC. I'll get it on Steam sales, no hurries because I've played Gold Edition content on 360.

$15 is expensive and I am willing to buy it if only the steamworks version supported save migration. I don't know how I feel about having to start over from scratch because save port tool isn't out yet.
