Crimson heads/Ganado = Super zombie-like-things. Not a huge stretch from them to just have "super" zombies in the film. And remember Umbrella is still messing with these zombies (as you see in the film) making them stronger, hence why they only appear in Vegas when Umbrella set the trap for the convoy.

Oh and as for what happened to Jill and Angela, well, it's kinda explained in the novel. Alice killed Angela under the control of Umbrella, hence why she left the group (very briefly said in the film, although Angelas name isnt mentioned). Jill is now heading her own team of survivors in Baltimore.

And the others had names (or the "main" ones did) you just gotta listen since they're only mentioned once or twice.

Really i do see where you're coming from though, you gotta love the first 2 to like this one. And since i loved them, i like this. Although, i do feel like stuff was cut, hence no real backstory on the characters.

No it means The OTHER PEOPLE
had nothing better to do, Never even heard of the games, actually liked the first 2 movies, or were curious.

Spider Man 3 broke records but it doesn't mean it was good.

It doesn't doubled the amount. Apocalypsis had 23 million and Extinction 24 million. It's not a really big diference generally speaking.

And once again the RE Community is split over the newest movie. I really did want to see Jill again but it was pretty obviously becoming the "Alice Show" so I see no reason to have included Carlos or Claire in this one except to name drop for the more casual fans of RE . . .

They totaly misse the boat on Carlos.
In the movie he doesn't have a fony accent that he loses halfway through the film.

Oh man! Found a questionable source for this and watched it. Ugh I am so glad I did not pay for this! The Alice show through and through and the very idea of a fourth chills me to the bone. Claire was so pointless and Claire Redfield in name only. I liked the bit at the start with the group of people who lured in passing survivors, the convoy I understood the need for but every death went by with a resounding "And?" I had no interest in these characters and did not empathise with their plight in any form. I did like the aggression of the super zombies (?) but only in a "just like DotD:Remake" kind of way. The tyrant was ok if expectantly brief and Wesker was again like Claire in name only. All this movie did was make me appreciate the superior zombie movies out there and in a related note seal my rethink on my view regarding "28 Weeks Later" which I was not keen on at first but have come to really like on further viewings.

i went out with my buds a couple days ago to watch it, i wanted to bash it lol but i decided ah whatever i'll just watch it because i don't expect paul anderson to make it like the games anyway. i pretty much did what omega did. it was alright i guess, still sucked but better than the others. i think what made me enjoy it a little bit more was the theater i went in. the audience yelled out things at the right times which made it freakin hilarious, it reminded me of being in highschool and somebody yells out something stupid

i didn't understand that water tank thing too, and wesker looked like a fatass guy that just ate something from the dollar menu put some shades on and sits his fatass down acting smart.

i'll admit though, the part with the tyrant reminded me of birkin. but when he started talking i was like you should've shut up LOL it was so tacky.

also how come they made no remark about jill? didn't she leave at the end with them in the car in RE 2? where'd she go lol

                            She never existed

It's all about Alice and her magic powers

I'm with you on that one Sin we went to see Jeepers Creepers 2 at the cine and what a laugh we had. Mostly due to the group of younger kids about three rows in front of us. The guys laughed at every death and the girls squealed and squirmed at pretty much everything the Creeper did. It was infectious and soon the whole cinema was involved, saw it again on DVD and wasn't impressed at all it needed the cinema experience. Maybe Extinction does too but I don't have the energy to endure it a second time on the hope that the audience will rise to the occasion . . .
