The groundskeeper is the first zombie you encounter in the green shirt.

Nice name. To answer your question to BLSR1, he wants to know why that happens. Must be a glitch, BLSR1. They didn't intend it, so it's not gonna work perfectly

Yeah, thats because i ripped the japanese Biohazard 2 title bg and pasted it into the us title bg.

I've uploaded the file as a proof or just for fun.

              RE2 modded title

You have to put it into the RE2 PC "Common\Data\" folder and overwrite the existing file named TMOJIPAL.BIN. I've tested it with the RE2 PC demo.

Hang on, what about the other options? Does it only work for the demo? I've got the retail.

ugh.. hmm i just realized that it just works for the demo.
Lol i was not even thinking of that the other options would not be visible.

So yeah.. it only works for the demo. The title bg of the retail uses .adt files..

Damn we have to find a talented c or c++ coder, he could compile the adt. extraction tool sourcecode i've found. With the help of that sourcecode, someone with c++ knowledge could easily programm a .adt tool.

We could than swap the room bg's in RE 2 for PC

                      yes i have, why?

I tried a lot with that stuff.. I know how to change the retail title bg but i can only use existing .adt files from the demo for swapping. We have to find a willed c/c++ coder that will help us in creating a tool for .adt converting etc.

Just dropped by to let you guys know that i've written a documentation about modding RE1 for pc. It's not complete but it's still very useful right now.

TheMortician's RESIDENT EVIL (PC) mod documentation

I will update this doc as soon as i can. I will also add a guide for editing the textures of the "door sequence" doors soon.

                            Very interesting kevstah.

Would you mind to explain me how to find and extract the .tim files out of the .ivm files? I didn't find them with TimViewer and Yu Ri.

I could use that for my documentation and would give you credits for that ;)

EDIT: Forget it, i've found out bymyself Seems like i never tried to open them with one of them.. I was sure i did but i didn't haha xD

But what about the .gpx files? Do you know anything about them? or how to open the .PIX files without any loss? I opened them with painthop but the colors were mixed up and not everything of the image was viewable.. I only know they're .raw files

                              Keep up the good work.

                              To help a little,

.PIX - Headerless TIM Textures (Item Avatars)
.EMW - Code + TIM + TMD (Real-Time Weapon Models)

About the .PIX, if you see one that is 150KB (example - CLIS01.PIX), copy the header from a 151KB TIM over to the PIX and rename it with a TIM extension. You can then view the 16Bpp TIM in PhotoShop, PSicture, etc.
                              I'm a blackstar.

Yep you scan any file with TimViewer for .TIM files just use the Raw Scan thingy, I'll update the list later and make it more ledgeble as there are a few mistakes and it looks a mess it's worth noting that models and tims in the .IVM files are only used for the "check" / examining model. As for .PIX's try PixEdit 7.
