RE2 modded title
You have to put it into the RE2 PC "Common\Data\" folder and overwrite the existing file named TMOJIPAL.BIN. I've tested it with the RE2 PC demo.Last edited by TheMortician; 12-17-2007, 06:30 AM.

ugh.. hmm i just realized that it just works for the demo.
Lol i was not even thinking of that the other options would not be visible.
So yeah.. it only works for the demo. The title bg of the retail uses .adt files..
Damn we have to find a talented c or c++ coder, he could compile the adt. extraction tool sourcecode i've found. With the help of that sourcecode, someone with c++ knowledge could easily programm a .adt tool.
We could than swap the room bg's in RE 2 for PC

Just dropped by to let you guys know that i've written a documentation about modding RE1 for pc. It's not complete but it's still very useful right now.
TheMortician's RESIDENT EVIL (PC) mod documentation
I will update this doc as soon as i can. I will also add a guide for editing the textures of the "door sequence" doors soon.

Very interesting kevstah.
Would you mind to explain me how to find and extract the .tim files out of the .ivm files? I didn't find them with TimViewer and Yu Ri.
I could use that for my documentation and would give you credits for that ;)
EDIT: Forget it, i've found out bymyself Seems like i never tried to open them with one of them.. I was sure i did but i didn't haha xD
But what about the .gpx files? Do you know anything about them? or how to open the .PIX files without any loss? I opened them with painthop but the colors were mixed up and not everything of the image was viewable.. I only know they're .raw filesLast edited by TheMortician; 12-23-2007, 11:51 AM.

Keep up the good work.
To help a little,
.PIX - Headerless TIM Textures (Item Avatars)
.EMW - Code + TIM + TMD (Real-Time Weapon Models)
About the .PIX, if you see one that is 150KB (example - CLIS01.PIX), copy the header from a 151KB TIM over to the PIX and rename it with a TIM extension. You can then view the 16Bpp TIM in PhotoShop, PSicture, etc.I'm a blackstar.
