I really couldn't care less if it's related to the movies. They weren't bad, so why should this one be if it is related? It looks mighty fine! I'm so happy that Capcom decided to involve lots of the game's characters.

This looks interesting. They said it would be an entirely new storyline though, implying without the use of already known characters. I can't wait to see more.

RE2 had an entirely different storyline to RE4, but they both had Leon and Ada. We see pics of Leon and Claire, and a reference to Raccoon City. I think it'll have a different storyline, but not a different universe.

At least they aren't going the path of FF: The Spirits Within. Capcom complains about money all the time, I'm concerned they might go bankrupt. Even Inafune has said as much as he wants to make Megaman Legends 3, Capcom doesn't have the money.

TSW was a good movie in it's own right, anyway. Just like the original RE movie. Only has a little bit of relation to the games, but still was a good zombie horror flick for people who haven't played the games.
