yea on page 60 where it shows the relations chart with all of the characters, it says Died right next to Rebecca, I didnt say she was dead, the book did, but it does contradicts itself on page 258 as you have mentioned. And for billy, we can only assume he is alive because he was set free by Rebecca but reported dead.

thats like them messing up UBCS with UCBS....

The 'story track' pages for Biohazard 2 and 3 in Biohazard Archives list Rebecca as alive, among all the dead Bravo team members. Is that's what's on page 60 in Resident Evil archives?

This is page 60 of ReArchives. Do you have BH Archives? So BH Archives is different from Re Archives?

Biohazard 3 story track (page 71)

Rebecca at the bottom. I've circled 'alive'. Notice it's different from the rest of the Bravo team

When did you buy this version of Archives? I read on another forum that in BH Archives she was dead. And REArchives is probably a translation of that BHA. It's a mistake.

Anothers error is that Brad (the last memeber of Apha team (rignt?))is not dead in "Biohazard 2 story track (page 49)". But you can find Brad zombie in re2. I suppose that in re3 scan it's there is something like "killed by nemesis").

Guess you dont need those scans anymore

RE Archives is a translation of BH Archives. If you notice, anywhere they say "Biohazard" it has been replaced with "Resident Evil", even if they weren't speaking of the title IE "Biohazard outbreak occurred"

Yeah, it really doesn't. Maybe if you use a machine translation but we all know (or should know by now..) that you should never go by that. PROPERLY translated, it says "Survived" (credit to Bjorn).

Looks like Prime Blue should be translating manga a living and not Bjorn.

(Yes, give us the full breakdown. As I could also interpret that as "Safely Returned", "Returned Safely", "Made it back alive", "Survived the mission", "Survived the incident", "Survivor", "Returned", "Made it out alive", "Safe", "Returned", "Came back" and possibly 50 other ways of saying the exact same stuff while staying true to source)

Okay, I'm gonna go straight out and say that anyone who doesn't speak more than one language and/or does not have any experience translating or proofreading translated stuff should never comment on things like this.

                      To give you the basics:

In one language you may have several words meaning the same.
While in another language you might only have one word/way of saying what can be said in tenfolds of different ways in other languages.
You might even have a word(s) that comes out completely different depending on things such as context, prepositions, postpositions and plural and singular form.

Indeed, Carnivol is right, basically, it translates to anything meaning "alive".
All we know now is, that Biohazard Archives are right, Resident Evil Archives are wrong; but then again, Biohazard did say Brad was living in BH2...

I have the Resident Evil Archives not the Biohazard one.

Its simple really, if theres anything that seems wrong in the RE version, cross check it with the Biohazard one. It should remove all doubt

I guess the smilie wasn't a proper indication of satire. I always found the Pac-man to indicate not being serious but thanks for the lecture. That one seems to work better but comes off as smug. Maybe I should use this one.
