The smartest character

As long as we understand the difference between wise and smart. Wisdom is knowing how to use and apply intelligence. For example, Adolf Hitler was extremely smart, a prodigal really. Yet, he completely lacked wisdom which resulted in his making wrong and bad decisions. That being said, the smartest character is probably Dr. Edward Ashford or Dr. James Marcus or Dr. William Birkin. However, not one of them had wisdom, despite their scientific and natural brilliance.
