That's right. The actual report doesn't cover the events of CV. It usually has the CV X trailer tacked on the ending.

Yeah, Steve is another of Wesker's testube toys. If there was a chance for his return (and in Resident Evil I'm still waiting for Bravo Team's ressurection at the hands of ancient chinese monk who needed to recruit a special force to fight spirits and zombies) then RE5 is the most logical place for Steve to appear.

Of course, Logic and Capcom...not such good friends.
