yeah the mysterious girl is more than likely to be sherry birkin, think we all knew this anyways.
Sheva is a totally new character, on the screenshots that where released there's a downed helicopter, this was transporting her team but its unknown who she works for, maybe another traitor.
In the latest interview Jun Takeuchi he says the redfields, instead of just redfield.
It is known that there will be playable flashbacks that give you infor for the past ten years so maybe Jill and claire etc will appear in these.

i finally figured out who she is!!

ok this is just common since people. if shes in resident evil 5 then solve it out

resident evil5 has been known about way before extinction was being advertised

maybe just maybe for once the movies introduced a charater from the games that no one has ever seen before
