I was expecting something akin to what happened in Outbreak...a new tale set in the disaster that was Raccoon city. That, I thought, might have potential...since there would be no lazy beams to kill half the cast. And yes, I meant lazy beams, since it was poor and lazy storytelling. Then I saw the character list and I knew it would be an abomination. I always assumed that Anderson was made to put in RE characters because people whinged that there weren't any in the movie...although I always suspect he may just want to show off how much cooler his character is.
