I voted 360 since that's probably what I'd play it most in. I'm still getting both and will wait to get a PS3 until later in the year, perhaps when it drops in price or something for the holidays and what not...

Buying a PS3 just for RE5 and MGS4... Well, I've done worse (initially bought a SS just for RE1, bought a PS2 initially just for Outbreak and Dead Aim, bought a Gamecube just for RE0 and RER, and its the same with the Sega Dreamcast for RE2, RE3, and Code Veronica, of course now I have more games for each of those systems, but I typically only get consoles if they feature a new RE game or game I really like. I got the X-Box 360 because Halo 3 and Dead Rising and it's expanded my selection of gaming genre since I'm not stuck into just liking 3rd Person Action/Adventure/Horror games or 2D/3D RPG's )

No, they're both technically PC ports, since that's the lead platform. The code is moved to the respective during the last 40% of the cycle. That's how Kobayashi's team managed to get DMC4 working on the 360 so quickly.

You can bet that RE5 isn't a budget title, so the work will comparable to DMC4 and not LP.
