Ok so im not a major fan of the outbreak series, far too many loading screens and some stupid characters that really dont fit in but they where part of the series so i have to play them.
Now the thing that bothers me is in the end of the road scenario there are different endings.
It seems that no matter what i do, i cannot get Linda to the helicopter before it takes off, its almost impossible and there isnt near enough time so im constantly stuck with going to battle NYX for that ending.
Does anyone know of a quick way or easy way of getting Linda to the helicopter?

Okay, being a Outbreak lover as myself I'll explain.
There are two ways, depending on Tyrant/Mr. X.
If you blow his heart up, you appear in the sewer?
If you don't you appear somewhere else.

In other words, whatever you're doing to Mr. X, do the opposite.
One route, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get her to the copter, while the other way, you can escort her BEFORE the timer starts.
Results in quite a quick ending.

yes i noticed you end up in two different places from the sewers and i figured it something to do with mr X, the time i ended up just under the apple inn i was sure i was going to make it, but then as soon as i got out the back of the warehouse Mr X came and made it hard for me to hurry through with linda so i didnt make it,
it frustrates me so haha

You'll get it eventually, practice makes perfect.
The only thing I hate about the series is Jim, his Godforsaken A.I. is laughable.

oh god jim is an awful character.
i only really liked Yoko and i liked Monica from Below Zero to, she was quite a strange character

My favourite character is Cindy in her bunny suite; such a funny costume! I used to call her funny bunny! ^^
My second is Yoko, then Ms. Water, but oh well.

I used to play as them three ALL the time online...
I don't play the series anymore, only if I'm utterly distrought and bored.
Hmmm, this reminds me of now, but I can't be bothered...

yeah i usually finish a resident evil game then play it repeatedly to find new things and stuff but i played those outbreak games far too many times now so i need a few weeks break before i try and get Linda in that chopper.
It has been a while since Veronica tho, hmm...

I hated the mines in that scenario. The mine detector would beep and I'd blow up. What a miracle in mine detecting technology. It finds the mines by making them explode next to me!

aaargh oh my god i forgot about that stupid thing, yeah some mine detector, it was pretty pointless really.
it was pretty cool to trick the mutated mr X into running into them, saved some ammo indeed

I really want to play Outbreak. Sounds interesting.

its a good game but just a little annoying and the time line doesnt feel right with it, oh and there are loading screens every two minutes

Yeah. I miss playing it off the PS2 HDD. The load times were much tolerable then.

yeah playing the outbreak without the harddrive is unbeariable so dont bother getting a high score for beating the game at the fastest time

I had the fastest time on the Outbreak Scenario online for a few days when the game first came out and then the cheaters came -_-; It was a good run

If you want to get the chopper ending with Linda, don't blow up Mr. X in the sewers so you'll end up in front of apple inn. Then later when you get to the back alley, use the detonator to blow up the mutated Mr. X, then make a run for it to the chopper with Linda. Alternatively, if you have a character who can dodge, you can use the landmines to blow him up (very hard to do, but possible).

If you want to make the Truck ending a lot easier don't use the detonator on Mr.X and. Later, during the final battle on the highway, use it on Nyx to expose his core. Equip the AR and fire away. Two AR clips + one RL shot to his core = dead Nyx in less than a minute from the start of the battle.
