Well, we can hope that's wrong. In theory they may have learned from the mistakes in RE4. When they go on about adding more horror and puzzles it does give me hope. Then you find they wanna shift the controls to pure action and you go, 'doh!'

Makes me wanna drop a dungbell weight on Takeuchi's foot. That asshat. He's ruined the world of RE for the majority of original fans, it would seem.

i still stand by my opinion that steve will never come back the wesker thing was probebly to keep the super obsessed fan boys/girls happy

Instead of herbs, Chris should just take steroids everytime he is injuried. Really why did they have to make Chris a beefed up meat head? O thats right RE is now an action-shooter that takes no thought. Just shoot and kill and maybe save a girl will no meaningful plot. Damn you capcom.

time for one of my opnions that'll probebly get me mauled on here, but i dont care xD
i love all the games the newer ones are getting better and better
while me and the other fans find out the whole story line of resident evil the 'old school fans' will miss out and be waiting in a dark corner for an older style re
you'll be waiting a longggg time unless they actualy do a remake

I don't think the muscles are difficult to believe, I just think it is unnecessary to have Chirs look like that.

I Agree with Itashious boy. A game with all of the major characters kicking zombie ass would be great. It should also have all of the other major antagonists (wesker, nemisis,etc)

I agree. Chris doesn't need to have such big muscles.

Chris' arch rival is Wesker, who's infamous for his cunningness and speed. I understand their decision since seems like Jill (and now Sheva) have filled the 'agile, smarter' character role, but Chris' personality is better made into a all-rounder. Actions first, talk later, beating people up without hesitating etc. The type of guy you wouldn't want to mess with due to his hot temper, but not because of his size.

Storyline of Resident Evil 5: (sorry for breaking the no sherry rule )

Chris comes to Africa. (for whatever reason ever)
Something's wrong.
Trouble (Zombie-like people. Why not real ones >_>)
Chris meets Sheva.
More Trouble.
Unknown man helps Chris and Sheva, who is later to be revealed as Billy Coen. He fled from America and went to Africa to confess for his actions with the military.
More trouble sigh.
Signs of Wesker are found.
Billy Coen gets killed when he tries saving Sheva or Chris from a Hunter (!). Before he dies he reveales to Chris that he is in fact Billy and knows/helped Rebecca (RE0). This is a very, very long cut scene.
Silent part of the game no trouble.
Chris meets Wesker. Albert talks about Steve, Sherry, Jill (who he got as hostage) and other stuff wesker might talk about (power?)
Wesker is superior to Chris, injures him before Sheva somehow manages to save Chris and make Wesker retreat.
Sheva needs to find aid for Chris, cause some of his ripps are broken.
You play Sheva through a litte trouble.
Chris is more or less okay again.
Chris needs to save Jill and Sherry (possibly Steve too).
Trouble. With big G-Virus Type monsters.
Encounter with Steve!!
Steve lost all his memories and works for wesker. Chris tries to make him remember (RE:CV)
Steve has the order to kill Chris so he transforms into his T-Veronica form.
Depending on the player you can save or kill of steve in this fight (ending will be changed).
If Steve is saved, then he is unconcious. If not saved well then he is dead, Chris and Sheva honor his last few secs.
A lot of Stuff happens.
They arrive at Wesker's Secret Lab.
Chris finds a communication room (wesker's room) and contacts Leon, since Claire is with him and either tells him that Steve is dead or alive. Leon offers to come to africa, but Chris refuses saying: "If I should die here there needs to be someone to stop Wesker". Leon thinks for a minute, and cautiously says "Understood".
Trouble in Lab.
Finding Sherry in a test tube. Chris is confused by all the equipment in this room and is scared to kill sherry off if he starts pushing buttons.
So he decides to leave her here for now and gets to find wesker and jill.
Trouble (probably a disc change on the 360 version).
Deeper and deeper in the lab Chris finds wesker as he is talking with jill, she is in a cell.
Wesker threatens to kill Jill and tricks Chris by releasing a tyrant on him.
Fight against the Tyrant. Sheva got injured, she can't use her right hand anymore (which means only handguns anymore for her)
They free Jill and Sheva decides to get back to Sherry incase Wesker wants to take her with him. Jill takes Shevas place from this point on.
Jill tells Chris that Wesker also imprisoned Carlos somewhere deeper in the Lab.
They go down....

Sounds good. I sure a lot of us on this site could write a great plot for RE5 and would do it for free. Crossing my fingers that the plot will good and actually go somewhere.
