In Re3 Nicolai is evil and betrays Carlos and Jill. He is one of the "watchdogs" that collects data on the BOWS to sell to umbrella. But Nicolai kills all of the other watchdogs so he can make more money. He also blows up raccoon city hospital. He is killed by nemesis in the Dead factory when he tries to shoot jill.

In the RE3 mercenaries minigame Nicolai only carries a handgun and a knife.

I believe Nicholai is still alive and the ending where he escapes in a helicpoter is the true ending according to the files.

But like rebecca we haven't seen him in another game or an official epilogue, so we have to assume he is dead. I accept the ending where Barry rescues them.

I believe there is a file in RE Survivor that says he is alive and it is dated after the the bombing of raccoon city. As far as the files in RE UC, he is mentioned in a few but not sure if they where before or after the destruction of the raccoon city.

And there's an EX file in RE2: N64 that says rebecca is alive

But they don't have an epilogue so we don't know for sure.

I believe the epilogues where only for characters that they where going to use in the series after that game. The problem is we have yet to see Barry, Hunk and Sherry invovled in the main plot but I think they are alive, they just have no reason to be involved in the story.

Yeah, you find a report from Nicholai in Survivor. Since we know Survivor is canon thanks to the intro to RE0 we have to assume he's alive.

I like your idea of a RTS BLSR1 but I always liked it from the other side. Being in control of a small RPD substation as the crap hits the fan. You've got to throw up barricades and man then, hunt down ammo supplies, food, medicine and survivors or you'll be overun by ever increasing numbers of mutant creatures. The fact that you can't just hide behind barricades but have to send parties out in search of all those goodies would have made it fairly horror, I think, more so than a standard RTS.

Yeah there are like 3 endings for Nicolai, the one where nemesis gets him, he escapes or you can blow up the chopper with the rocket launcher,
ive always thought him escaping was the right ending though

I believe there is a file from Sergei to Nicholai in UC too. I haven't played UC yet, but someone will be able to confirm. I don't know if the file is dated but.

As for dream game... Bring back Mad Jackal! Can you tell I'm a Nicholai & Mad Jackal fan???
If they made a non-canon game, which is as tough, fun and tight as Mad Jackal, but had a few more weapon sets, layouts, or even just enemy placements, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. (playing with Nicholai) It's got a perfect learning curve, and a real sense of achievement when you first beat it, then get 1 survivor, then 2 then 3...4...5... all 6.

well im starting to hate movie two and three cause of the characters, i like the first one cause it makes me wonder if that could have happend before stars got to the mansion cause i dotn think jill chriss and barry ever found anyone that actually lived there in the mansion and seeing as how they were secret opporatives there woulnt have been any records of them being there so it could have happened, but theres that thing about the licker cause ive never seen a licker mutate in a game before o.O

The mansion was supossed to be a summer resort for Umbrella employees. It was Spencers Manison and he stayed there I'm guess when he wasn't at the main headquarters. Later Wesker and Birkin took over and many of the researchers lived there and worked in the labs and guard house.
