My dream RE should involve Chris and Leon. When you put two of the most famous RE characters together, then you' ve got yourself one BADASS game!!

Probably you' re right but he was more badass in RE 4 than RE 2. However, he was way too cocky in 4 and from the RE Degeneration trailer it looks like he didn't change. Let's just hope that Chris isn't going to end up like him after RE 5

Meh, the only ass Leon kicks is that of old Ganado penshioners. Monsters, well, he always needed a specific thing to kill the majority of them.

IE: Liquid Nitrogen against the Back Hand, err, the Right Hand. Verdugo.

True, his character was much better in RE 2 and he had his dramatic moments like ada's "death". Still, he was more badass in RE 4

Well, yes. Unfortunately that was all he was. Badass. He had no other facet to his personality. Well, bar his random desire to get into Ada's slinky red dress.

RE4 Leon fails. They tried too hard to make him 'cool' and ended up making him an ass. RE2 Leon was so determined and naive, he had real character. He was sweet, cheesy, confused, and I loved him. Deep down, in my head, I always imagined that the only and I mean ONLY 2 reasons Leon even joined whatever secret service was beacuse:

1. To 'take down Umbrella'
2. Most importantly, cheesily, classic-Leony: to pursue Ada. She's a secret agent! I figured Leon was like 'A jawb as a sekret agent?!?!?/ OMFG MAYBEH I CAN FIND ADA.'

But that's just me >_>

Anyway, I believe the main topic was an ideal RE game? Well in my case, that's already been douched over. Do you know how excited I was for RE4? I told myself over and over again- Holy crap. Leon is going to infiltrate an Umbrella base to save Sherry. He's gonna be in contact with Claire, fight Wesker, fuck, he might even find traces of Steve too. And like Sherry, he's gonna get infected and have a race to find a cure, whilst blasting zombies, yet being his old goofy self? Not to mention he's a secret agent, so he's undoubtedly going to be on the lookout for Ada too. This game is going to be freaking epic.

FAIL.

FUCKING FAIL.

Instead of herbs, Chris should just take steroids everytime he is injuried. Really why did they have to make Chris a beefed up meat head? O thats right RE is now an action-shooter that takes no thought. Just shoot and kill and maybe save a girl will no meaningful plot. Damn you capcom.

Well, we can hope that's wrong. In theory they may have learned from the mistakes in RE4. When they go on about adding more horror and puzzles it does give me hope. Then you find they wanna shift the controls to pure action and you go, 'doh!'
