new glitches can be awesome to find lol >.< just remembered another one totally off topic and i dunno if it can be classed as a glitch but, using cheat codes for mgs2 substance and choosing the snake tale confidential legacy snake can use The SOCOM even though its only meant for Raiden's character, when you aim with it the sight is a little but off and firing with it is a guess probs because snake ain't supposed to use it but then again this is mgs1 snake your playing as >.<

I may of said this before. But anyways.
On the PS1 verison of Resident Evil 2 I've noticed something that is either a really bad glitch, or a reall badly edited cut. When you meet the very fisrt Licker (I perefered to call them "Lurkers") in the corridor of the police station. First you come upon a headless body, laying under the fuse box. As you pass the body and round the corner the cut video starts with the Lurker hanging by the ceiling, and drooling and running his tonuge out. When Clare/Leon gasp and step back - Notice directly behind them - the headless body is gone.... But as soon as the video is over the body is right back where is was. I'm not sure who told me. But I had heard that because I was playing an American verison it was edited. That the headless body was really laying directly under the Lurker. And it was the body that he was playing with with his tongue. But that had to be cut out, and the body was put under the fuse box. Again I'm not sure about this.Last edited by The John Doe; 06-24-2008, 07:32 PM.

On the original Playstation game I had Barry stop just before the dining room clock and not move. I ended up having to go into the room where Kenneth is in order to make the game progress. He just kept looking around the room while standing in place. I have this on a video somewhere.
Another one was in Resident Evil 4 for the gamecube. I had been fighting with Luis in the cabin and I was about to be grabbed by a Ganado. I quickly switched weapons, but I did so just as the Ganado grabbed me (where your normally not allowed to switch weapons). Once Leon kicked the Ganado away, He wasn't holding the shotgun but had the animations for it. The game froze with a massively loud BZZZZZZZZZ sound (RE4 crash sound, I've heard it many times now). I also have this on tape
Another RE4 one was in the Trial Edition. If you shoot the dog as it goes into the fence/brush, it will stop and then run around if you get close to it. It floats a couple feet in the air (or at whatever height it was at when you shot it).

I had a couple glitches in resident evil outbreak 2 like when i climbed down a ladder along with my partner. My head was in his ass I laughed so hard. another glitch is where the elephant tossed me in the air and i landed on my partner he was still standing when i fell on him.

So the headless body-glitch was really more of bad planning (and editing) than it was a glitch? I wonder why the programers didn't notice that this would be a problem, while they were "fixing" the game for American standards. Does the unedited video even look kewel? I've heard that the unedited video of the zombie chewing Kenneth's head off, in Resident Evil 1, was crappy looking.

Well, I find the uncut intro of RE1 quite amusing. But I'm twisted.
And, yeah, they simply fail to realize in the finished edit that body would be there and should be in the background. It's one those little contiuty errors that Resident Evil has more than it's fair share of.
The original scene is not FMV, but it is quite fun. Leon walks up...and a head drops at his feet. He looks up and it's followed by a Licker. I suspect it would have been quite a surprise. The current FMV gives you more time to get a handle on the Tongued Ones.
