Possible New (BH2) Beta Found!! from lphant

Sorry if I am wrong and sound like an ass but I think this is new. plus it can't be be beta 2 because in it you can cut through the trash can that is usually on the RE2,the kendo van

1-When I Start I have two zombies behind me. Is that normal?
2-When I Get to that spot I mentioned up there I can't cut through because there is no thrash can. so I decided to take the normal walk....... And here it is the weirdest thing I found in 3 minutes of gameplay...... you know that bus that you find in the background before entering the RPD,well it's ussually in the left side in this game it's on the right thats why I can take the trash can short cut!

also in that same spot there is supossed to be a background that shows crashed cars in fire and a big fire truck on top well.... There is nothing.... absolutely nothing!

Think it could be a new beta?

I dont have much more because I only played until I got to that spot.

Hope someone can tell me what beta this is because it has me stressed!

It sounds like BETA 2 to me, although I can't quite fully understand the differences in the post...
Aslong as we get a link and Dot/anyone else can clarify what it is.

I just had a thought: wouldn't it be funny (and great) if the Curator accidentally left his 1.5 proto inside his LimeWire shared folder?

Also, if anyone has some bandwidth to use up, take a look at the pic I got just then. I'm sure it's just a trick though.

Sounds like the Biohazard 2 Trial disk that came with the Directors Cut.

I got it from Lphant the file name was Biohazard 2(Beta).RAR When Extracted I got

Biohazard 2(BETA).img File weighs 658 Megabytes. I have never seen a beta that weighs this amount.

I think you may have Beta 2. It was an abnormally large amount when I got it too.

I just checked. According to Vista, the .iso file for Beta 2 is 762,489KB (762MB for those braindead people out there). Your beta could be just a case of different compression, or you could really be onto something here.

When you start it up, does it give you a screen with Leon's and Claire's scenarios available? Or is it just Leon's, with Claire's greyed out?

I downloaded Iphant and I think I found the file Joseph got and am downloading it. I will let you all know what I find.

EDIT: I found a few with abnormal RAR sizes such as 189MB and 300MB. I'll download those as well to see if it is 1.5 . I doubt it though...
