    The images were taken with FRAPS while using ePSXe. I ended up using Paint.NET to resize the images so that they weren't so large when I posted them on imageshack.

    Hopefully Joseph can slaps some screens or a video online. I want to hear his input and hope to see if he indeed found something new or if we just have another duplicate on our hands.
    Just a question but what version of ePSXe are running cos development went on hiatus for four years until May 24 2008 when v.1.7.0 was released.

      The 'enemy seen infront of objects in background' is quite normal in Beta 2. Don't worry

        Alrighty. I thought so...I've seen some shots where it looks fine and others where its in front of the objects. Thanks for clarifying.

            I used ePSXe version 1.6.0 to play from an image file. I normally use pSX 1.13 but it would not load this specific image format.

              Alf we are close but my version instead of having cop cars in the background It has normal cars

                Are they completely white without any textures?

                The best way to tell which versions you have is to open up the iso with isobuster extract the system.cnf file open it with notepad and read the line that says

                  Sound pretty cool. When you said normal cars I thought of this pic.

                        It could be that imageshack may have resized the images. I have this issue with IE7 where I have to shrink my window, click the image and then the image will show in full screen. I also ended up resizing the pictures from a 1920x1080 resolution to 1440x810. The only other thing I could think of it is that I turned up all the bells and whistes on the ePSXe emu which tends to blur my image with games that have pre-rendered backgrounds. I guess I should have just kept the original screen size and not have rescaled my game image to fit my monitor before I took those screen shots.

                          cos there only 320x240 the ps1 could only output at 640x480 max the bg images looked jagged cos there running in twice there resolution, character's are rendered so when they are run through an emulator they get the benefits of antialiasing / anisotropic and extra filters.

                            I just download [PS1] Biohazard 1.5 (Prototype).rar off eMule it seems to be the same as Joseph Frost's

                              If you're talking about the area outside the RPD, it's because they used quick renders of the backgrounds. A similar effect can be seen in the factory garage backgrounds in the 1.5 bg rips.

                                Its just Beta 3. After seeing these I went and double checked my two Beta's I have and they're the same as the images posted. The two beta's I have, A and B to differentiate between the two both have the room jump enabled and seem to have the exact same room files but A is a corrupt image (a few BGs are corrupted, got this ages ago) but won't let you save but B is perfect and allows you to save.

                                Got bored so went through the Avatars:

                                Beta 3
                                Final

                                Calico->Colt S.A.A (the calico is usable but always has infinate ammo and shoots like the pistol), many items have a slightly different avatar, the weapons storage key in the beta is where the platform key is in the final and where the weapon storage key is in the final is a key to obtain the ingram, The MO disk is a key in the beta, the Film D is a weird Yellow grenade thing (doesn't do anything), the Special key is a duplicate of the Vaccine Case, and the plugs are in a different order.
