No RE5 For wii!

This forum is about the apparent lack of re5 for wii.

Personally, i believe that this bias against wii needs to stop! It has been going on for too long like this. Yes, the wii is more 'everyone' oriented, but the same time, it shouldn't be deprived of resident evil entirely, or any other 'M' rated game, for that matter.

I don't understand how it's biased that the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 are waaaaaaay more powerful than the Wii. Capcom just doesn't want to spend extra time and money to downgrade the game to work for the Wii when they can just do what they've been doing with all the other games they have this generation. Capcom has a game engine, made for PC use that they used for Lost Planet, Devil May Cry 4, and Resident Evil 5. I'm sure it's all a matter of money so don't get your panties in a bunch and be a Nintendo fanboy.

I have a wii. I have a 360.

Im getting RE5 on the 360.
I don't want a gimped RE5 on the wii.
The wii needs original games not crappy ports.

Theres no bias towards the wii. Nor is there bias against any console.

If you are complaining because you only have a wii, how about you save money and sell your xbox or PS2 to help buy a 360 or PS3? I hear the 360 is getting a 50$ price cut soon.

While I don't think its bias...I just think Capcom wants to target a larger audience. 360 has been around the longest, PS3s are more expensive, but easier for people to come by. Wii's in some locations are still hard to keep in stock. I doubt that has too much to do with anything though.

Well, yeah...Resident Evil 0 for Wii isn't coming out anywhere but Japan. It's not a remake at all though, it's a mere port. Anyway, this thread should be closed; it's stupid and I already pointed all this out in the first post.

yea like they all said the WII dont have enough Ram to be able to play something like RE5 its got too many whatchamacalits on it and it cant handle the load if they do make one for the Wii it wll be later on when everyone has played it and they have gotten all the money they can out of RE5 for 360 and ps3 then they mithe consider making a downgraded one for the WII

Meh, the Wii mote is too much work to use. You can't play laying down on your back or upside down because of the accelerometers in the contoller... It's bit of a drag, to be honest. I really prefer controllers which can be used in any position and still function the same.

I think i agree with corrin on this. If you really don't have the guts to go out and get a 360 or PS3, then get it for PC. (if it comes out) Although having a wii myself, I would much rather have a wii-exclusive game than a crummy 360-to-wii port.

I'm not too fussed if this game doesnt come out on the wii, it will only be a downgraded version of the game anyways

I lay down while playing the Wii just fine. Just prop some pillows behind your back and your set.

The Wii can play all the old Gamecube Resident Evil games. No one is deprived of Resident Evil if they buy a Wii.

Uh...whoever told you you couldn't play GC's on the wii either doesnt have a Wii or is full of shit. If you are waiting for a title to load, the screen shows both a Wii and GC disk.

They are 100% wrong and are probably Sony or Microsoft fanboys or Know nothing about the wii.

The wii can play all of the Resident evil games except the gun survivor and outbreak series.

RE 5 for Wii would be a bad idea. I think games made for the Wii should be exculsive and games should be made with the controls in mind. RE UC is a great example although RE 4 for the Wii worked well.
