No RE5 For wii!

are you serious? people told me the WII cant play the GC games tell me your not yanking my chain?

Have you ever seen a Wii? It has the four Gamecube controller ports and two memory card slots on the top of the machine. As the other posters mentioned, you can play every main game in the Resident Evil series on the Wii.

I honestly doubt the Wii would be able to do RE5 justice. The Wii's a good console and it has many advantages but raw power is not one of them. Better that we get some real exclusives for the Wii rather than a bad imitation. If they'd done UC how they'd first planned it would have been a very interesting game.

I'm not getting a 360 or a PS3 at any time in the future, so I'm really pulling for a Wii port. I don't particularly care how much they downgrade the graphics. As long as I get it on my Wii.

This is how I look at it; Capcom is Capcom. Once RE5 has sold many millions of copies on PS3 and 360, I'm quite sure they'll be porting this bad boy onto every console available.

I think RE UC was capcom's offering for Wii and we won't see RE 5 on it. Though I was suprised when RE 4 was ported to the PS2 so i guess anything is possible.

oh they knew PS fans were pissed not having a resident evil game on the Playstation anymore after the OB, CV, Dead Aim and ect... I bought a PS3 so im set for RE5 and I would love to have a wii and sell my gamecube and I can still play all of my RE games from my gamecube, it also pissed me off at the time that RE remake and RE0 and all of the other RE ports on gamecube were exclusive...so pissed untill i bought a GC lol

True...It didn't take them long to get RE4 on the PS2, did it? Pretty much right after it stopped selling on the other systems they tried to see how much it would sell elsewhere.

So I guess the point is that all signs point to RE5 on Wii, but only after it's sold itself dry on the other two.

Wii and 360-PS3 are completely different.

Who knows, I bet none of you thought Capcom would port dead rising on WII ... so everything is possible.
