Fourth Resident evil live-action movie

LJ was cool! Lol, don't kill me for saying that, but I thought he was funny. Also, the only bad acting was in the first one. The other two were pretty good. I want another movie.

I'd like another movie, but then again i didn't like how the last one ended. I don't want to see 1000's of alice's fighting zombies, it'll just be too much.
If a fourth movie was made i'd say at the start, all the alice's except the main one are lead to this building, well huge building like as big as a football stadium. Here Wesker has set up some huge bomb, blows them all up, leaving the main Alice to herself...Alone.
So Alice goes through the movie tracking down Wesker, some random fight, Done. but i'm going to vote Yes, just so i can see if they keep the ending and use it to cover the storyline for the whole of the next film.

I wouldn't trust that link too much. I can't find a date for it and it makes it sound as though it's one of the news articles that said the fourth movie was comming before the third movie was out.

So, yeah, it's an old story and almost certain to be false now that someone out and out said it wasn't being done.

As for me, I voted no. I've watched them all so far but, see, I need my eyes. If they make another one and it's just as awful I'll be truly tempted to just pop out my eyeballs rather than face the possibility they might make a fifth movie.

All those clones are completely unnecessary and there should really only be ONE biological weapon/jedi in the series...

She has to loose her super powers somehow... I don't care how as long it's not like she just wakes up and she's now got amnesia and lost all her powers... Her having super powers takes a lot away from the films since it doesn't feel like anything Resident Evil. It's only real connection to the games is that it has zombies and the title. The first and second actually had more to do with staying true to the series than the third.

If they plan on making more than one future RE movies one should be a prequel explaining stuff about Alice and her training or the side stories on the various biotech facilities like the one growing Alice's and the underground labs holding the Umbrella personal...

Anderson's probably sick of people bitching about his BH movies, so now, he's probably making them crap on purpose to piss us all off and screw the serie's further into oblivion.

I like the first one, because at least that felt like a horror movie (more action oriented, but still horror) and had the proper atmosphere. The only thing I could bitch about was Red Queen (along with that damn laser corridor) -- this should be a zombie movie, where mutants and bad people are your only enemies, not some AI.

But the next two movies... man, those were awful. RE:Apocalypse: Nemesis turning into good one (seriously, who couldn't foreseen that after hearing, that it is made from Matt? because I did ), Alice turned into a Neo-wannabe, and Jill "the bitch" Valentine and a comedian pimp... :/. Was it really that hard to make a horror movie about zombie infested city with normal people? Just look at "28 Days Later" or even "Shaun of the Dead". Yes, even the parody of zombie movies was, IMHO, more scary than what Anderson did.
And Extinction aka RE meets Mad Max? I don't even know where to start :|. Zombies in the movie looked worse than in amateur movies.

I need closure, damn it! XD Ever read a book, but it's so bad that you want to stop reading, but can't because you hope the ending makes up for it? That's the scenario I'm in with the Resident Evil movies...

I don't think the movies will ever be saved unless a new director takes them up and starts again, this time sticking to the games storyline

That's unlikely to happen. Anderson's movies may be a mockery of all that is good in the world but they sell. If they make a fourth it's gonna be Andersonlicious. And that means Alice being a super being, Wesker getting pimp slapped to death by her and the movie going down hill from there.

But, hey, you never know...they might actually have a Tyrant or some other monster Alice doesn't engage in hand to hand combat with. Or have the end boss killed by lazers, of course.

Or, and I find this much more likely, she'll replicate that scene from the Matrix where Neo finds he's the one and starts fighting off agents one handed while looking the other way. Only she'll be using just her little finger.

After watching the 3rd one i gotta agree no more, the first film was great and unique at the time, 2nd film was ok in some places but was a real let down and the 3rd one.... well like its already been stated mad max meets RE it didn't have a massive impact on me at all. And now a 4th film.... great

The first movie was ok because it still had the resident evil vibe even though none of the characters were the same and the story was different than the first game. As a stand alone story it was pretty good. What I didn't like about the 2nd and 3rd movie was when they started putting in characters from the game and trying to make a knock off of the games. Having characters like Jill, Carlos, Claire and Wesker did not make those movies any better and to me is just pure lazyiness. Since the movies are not the same as the games, the need to be seperate universes.

they introduced those characters and ruined them, the only thing that made them resemble their game character was an outfit, nothing more
