Got Any Questions On The Nemesis? Post 'Em Here!

Hey. I decided to make this thread to stop myself and another from going too far off topic in another thread, and because I, myself have some questions to ask about the Nemesis... [Don't get too mad at me if he questions are "nit-picks"].

Q:1 - How does the Nemesis make such loud footsteps? Is it his boots? Or something else?

Q:2 - When we first get to meet Nemesis, he leaps out of what seems like nowhere. Did he actually leap from over a wall or did he come from a chopper by Umbrella?

Q:3 - Where did he find a rocket launcher?...

i tried to answer the footsteps question for ya, hopefully others will have better answers.

I believe nemesis was dropped from the same helicopter that Mr X was dropped from, the european branch of umbrella sent nemesis in along with other tyrants so they probably all came from the same chopper.

I think the rocket launcher was provided by umbrella, he probably came with it as had recieved long training and was still able to maintain thought making him still able to use weapons

Nemesis was not dropped from a chopper. Listen to Brad in the bar. He has encountered the nemesis before he speaks to Jill.

Nemesis has at least 2 rocket launchers (the one he takes down the helicopter with is different to the one he attacks you with in the RPD, and the streets while you're fixing the cable care). Since he knows how to use them, they were obviously provided for him. He probably has a weapons cache somewhere which he returns to.

yeah i knew he brad had seen him before he met Jill but this doesn't neccesarily mean he wasn't dropped from a chopper, there where various helicopters around during the outbreak and there where six pods on the one Mr X came from

If the Nemesis came from Europe, then I guess he'd have to be delivered by a chopper, now that I think more about it. Or a boat. I had forgotten that he came from Europe.

LOL, I bet Brad was the first S.T.A.R.S. member that the Nemesis went for. Poor Brad.

i think Brad was the only STARS member still in town along with Jill so it was her or him.
in weskers report two it says that they recieved their nemesis by chopper

Those choppers in 2 were most likely carrying the Mr X type though. Especially since it happened after Nemesis was in the city. And given his different nature and needs as well as his unique status I suspect her even warrants his own chopper and support team, if only to make sure his armament is in shape and to place it where he can find it.

Yes, he may have arrived by Helicopter, but he didn't arrive when Jill met him. I doubt they would go, pick Nemesis up and then drop him again nearer his target. Why not just have a sniper in the chopper take the people out? Hell of a lot cheaper and safer than lugging a bio-weapon that could break whatever control you have on him.

It's more likely he came in over the wall...or, if the gates aren't closed, simply walked in while Jill was distracted with Brad. When a friend is hurt it's possible for even eight feet of walking hate to show up without being noticed. Heck, we know he's quite capable of organizing ambushes so it's possible he was already in there, hidden somewhere, but that seems unlikely since he'd have gone for Jill just as readily as Brad.

Maybe the Nemesis leaped off of the Police Precinct roof top... I'd be lmfao if he landed on Brad and insta-killed him before turning to J.Valentine.

he had already arrived in raccoon city prior to him finally catching brad.
when you meet brad in the bar, brad says its after stars so he had already meeten nemesis as theselfishgene said

If you meet Carlos in the restaurant, then go get the gem from the 3rd floor of the Newspaper office, Nemesis will attack you up there. When you are next on the street outside, he will leap out of the third storey down to get Jill. Big falls don't bother him at all. He probably jumped off the RPD roof or something.

Answers some questions about RE3...

I remember reading a Japanese guide book, the Inside of Biohazard (Director's Cut version) had the Tyrant's weight at 540 lbs (~245 Kg). Since he is so massive and the Nemesis looks more muscular than the original tyrant, it's safe to say that Nemesis might weigh a lot more than 540lbs. That would definitely make a *thud* sound...

When he's first introduced, Nemesis just jumps the fence to get to the other side. This is better shown with a different tyrant in Outbreak's Decision, Decision scenario when Thanatos does just this (albeit with some extra baggage).

The "Origins of Nemesis" document states that the Nemesis tyrant was trained to use a various number of weapons, many we don't see. The rocket launcher's he is given were part of his standard equipment... (I tried to find a link for that, but Google was being picky :-/)

Ahh, thank you for that, it was helpful. It did, however, get one question wrong about the Hunter Gamma's in the capsules in the hospital. It said that they were captured by hospital workers or something, when infact the hospital was owned by Umbrella and they were created/locked down there to begin with.

P.Omega. How heavy would you say 540 lbs is? [I'm not from America, so I'm not sure about "lbs or "pounds". Is it heavier than a jeep?
