Question 12/Answer 12. Their wrong. Well, according to Archives their wrong, anyway. I've also heard a few times before that the hospital secretly belonged to Umbrella without anyone on the surface really knowing about it.

question 12/ answer 12? i mean where in the game does it say the hospital workers captured them.
It is more than likely that Umbrella owned the hospital

Ughhh, thats EXACTLY what I said.

The LINK suggests that Umbrella DID'nt own the hospital and mini-lab.

I'm saying Umbrella DID actually own the hospital and lab. *facepalm*.

And I never said it was mentioned in-game that researchers captured them. So I have no idea where you got that idea from. ^ _ ^

The Nemesis couldn't have been brought in on the same chopper that Mr. X was brought in on. This is because we can see that all the canisters are the same size, and Mr. X just fit in his. Nemesis is a lot wider and bulkier, so he must have had a special chopper.

Maybe he rode a tricicle to Raccoon City. Or a skateboard...

Hell, it would'nt suprise me if he hand-glinded to Raccoon on a hand-glider that had a huge Umbrella logo on it. LOL.

It was a different chopper that dropped MR. X, because we see him get dropped in RE2, AFTER Jill has left the RPD.

Remember. We have like 50 damn helicopters leaving Raccoon City over the course of the incident.

Tell that to Yasuhisa Kawamura (one of the guys being interviewed), the story planner of Resident Evil 3

While yes, the hospital was paid for by Umbrella through donations, as seen in the file about the "City Guide", where it states "The vast donations from Umbrella have been used for welfare work, the construction of public utilities, and to help maintain public peace...through many donations and hard work our city was able to rebuild the municipal building, create a state of the art hospital." The staff was not composed of Umbrella "scientists" and thus not privileged to have first hand knowledge of the disease at hand. You can see this from the "Director's Diary". They had no idea what they were dealing with...

                540 pounds = 244.94 Kg
540 pounds = 54 gallons of milk (a gallon of milk weighs 10 lbs )

Well lets see... Do you know of Andre the Giant? He was a French wrestler who was 7"5 feet (226.06 cm) tall and at his heaviest, weighed 540 pounds.

Ahhhh, so thats what it ment. I thought the staff were Umbrella researchers... So if the Hunters were captured... How the hell did basic Doctors and Nurses manage to catch B.O.W.?

*Imagines a Doctor trying to shove a Hunter Gamma into a stasis tube, only to get devoured on the spot]. [LOL!].

And on the topic of Nemesis's weight and his "leaping ability" Tyrants can leap... and Nemesis was originally a Tyrant, so despite being a whoppin' 540 pounds, he still has an ability to pounce around.

I'd imagine the Hunters were tranquilized before they were inserted into the examination tubes. After messing with valves, you probably inadvertently cut the supply of tranquilizing agent which causes them to regain consciousness.

interesting theories so far, anyway my theory is that nemesis was deployed on the outskirts of raccoon city as the carnage started happening to collect as much combat data as possible in the field tackling stars members, therefore after finally reaching the city he discovers brad trying to find a way out and persues him through the city till he bumps into Jill in the RPD courtyard, thus now finding 2 stars members he jumps over the gates and well the rest is history >.<

Hi guys, I have a question. Since Nemesis is just a parasite using a body of a Tyrant, how was he trained? I mean, it doesn’t look like he could have any kind of training. I’m sure what I’ve just written is dull but I just need to know about this. Thanks to whoever answers this question.

T-103s can be trained. In Resident Evil 2, he's after the G virus.
In Outbreak file 2 he's trained to kill hunters.

Nemesis was OBVIOUSLY trained, but it's never been elaborated as to how any of them were trained. But from memory the Tyrant in OB:F2 had a computer program controlling it?

Yeah, I know he was trained, but I just can’t figure out a coherent way to do that beyond weird thoughts.

EDIT:What about a microchip implanted on the brain? Would be interesting but we have no clues about it.

Well, my best guess is behaviour conditioning. How you condition one is an interesting question but we know it had, at least, chimp level intelligence and properly closer to that of a young child. If it can be made to register pain then it could be taught. Y'know. Zap if you attempt to tenticle the reseacher to death, no zap if you stab Victim 13 who happens to look just like this pretty picture.

The only other option is some kind of computersied control system like the T-103, as Gene mentions, although I havent actually gotten to that scenario yet...
