Maybe I'll do some more as well, still looking for that debug menu lol. The closest I came was this hidden text option when I hacked a "always display text" code and used it on the main screen:


    Also Dot, did you ever show screens of that debug from RE1 saturn version you had?

          You mean when you load a game? Could be, not sure why the character set is all messed up though, maybe because it's outside the load game screen or it's trying to load Japanese characters (not sure if they are still on the CD or not).

          I gave up looking for the RE1 debug menu anyway, the way it was implemented in Biohazard 2 beta ver. 2 meant Capcom could remove it with ease. The RE2 debug menu is very similar to the RE1 one judging by the screenshots and code left overs on the Bio 2 beta disc.

                I'm sure many people will agree with me that the biggest enemy in the Resident Evil games is the camera. I couldn't count how many times I've died, all because the camera shifted angles at the wrong moment. Which brings me to something funny that happen to me. While fighting the last Birkin verison in Resident Evil 2, during the 1st senario, I was playing as Leon and had the modified shotgun. Every time I thought I had a bead on Birkins- the damn camera would shift- and he'd be outta the way. One time I really thought I had him backed in a corner. I couldn't see what I was aiming at very clearly, but was sure it was him. I started blasting and didn't stop until Leon had done reloaded twice. Arming myself with the magnum I started forward to investigate (what I thought would be a mortally wounded Birkins) when I cought a quick glimps of some movement behind me. It was like one of those horror movies where the killer is in the backseat of the car, but the driver doesn't know it until it's too late. As soon as I spun around with the magnum Birkins's big-mouth-dog form swallowed me whole.

                  A favourite of mine is taking the piss out of the REmake zombies, just slowly back up till they try to grab you, they'll miss, leaving you to do whatever you please as they wonder where you've went to.

                  Another is the first day when RE2 came out on PS1, obviously everyone knows it came on two discs, anyway I was playing through the disc as Leon. My brother ever the smartass, says the game is not scary and said he'd finish it first after 'giving' me a head start. We all know about the 'two way mirror' with the licker.

                  So I'd already past, I gave him the Claire, later me and a friend are slowly but surely working through Leon's disc, when we suddenly hear a scream from the next room. We piss ourselves laughing and go and see him and we laugh at him (magic mirror' and say 'thought the game wasn't scary?', he replied with a 'ya couple a p****s' (the other Scots here will know the blanks' and said we should have told him about that. So funny.

                  One other thing that I remember, it was funny/weird at the same time, fighting Nemesis in the 'acid shower' room, I was fighting him/her/it/whatever and its head fell off and was still fighting me. A few more shots from the gun and it was over. I put the game on pause and put the controller down and thought, that was pretty 'f***** up' never had it happen again though.

                  Sorry for the 'great wall' of text.

                    One time while fighting Mr.X' second Super form, he got stuck running into the wall after I dodged his sliding claw attack. He was just stuck gliding into the wall in a never ending animation. Once I shot him with the Magnum, he got unstuck and the fight was back to normal.

                    Another time with Claire in her "R" mission, G-3 wouldn't die. I hit him with 7 RL shells and he didn't go down. Then I noticed my Gameshark was still turned on, so I switched it off and hit him again... and he finally was defeated. I think the GS was interfering...

                    In RE3 I got Nemesis stuck on a table in the Clock Tower' main hall (when playing as Carlos) and I just unloaded everything on him. Boo Yah!!

                    In remake, I got Lisa stuck behind a statue in her mothers crypt. All I did was run around the crypt, she pursued me, then got stuck by the exit.

                    The final time was actually due to a dirty lens in my Dreamcast. So what happened is in Code Veronica Kanzenban was that I got stuck in the "aiming handgun down" postition. I could run around and everything, just that I was gliding along and could only shoot down. Once I cleaned the lens, it never happened again.

                      That would have been, so funny, you're shooting the crap out of him, thinking why won't you die? Oh wait my Gameshark is still active.

                      No offence but that sounds so funny.

                        Yeah, that's what I thought. I used codes to get the GL and RL early instead of going to an item box. I also had "push Triangle to restore health" code on and I think that's what was causing him to not die. Maybe another code conflict or something.

                        I only cheat on games after I beat them a few times. Then I bust out the GS or Action Replay, turn on some modifier codes along with gun codes and Infinite Health = Good bye monsters

                          I was fighting with Nemesis in the police station and ran to the room were dead Marvin lies, I thought that he would stuck in the doorway of that room... but instead he instantly ran inside and killed me. I was shoked because about 10 different people said that Nemesis would stuck there. It was like WTF!!!

                            I've never known nemesis to get stuck in a doorway, Marvin's office door is the same size as the other doors so i don't know how it would happen really

                              Sherry's running along a dark tunnel. I hear a crumpled paper sound. I see some cockroaches fly at Sherry's head. She try's the brush them off but they are the size of her thigh and quickly overtake her.

                                It is said that there are some kind of a glich there, when you stand in this doorway and Nemesis ran on you he will stuck there. I actually saw it on youtube and Nemesis was knifed in that video.
