Your thoughts on a possible RE podcast?

I was curious to see what you guys thought of some members of the RE community getting together with me for a podcast. I've been discussing it with another webmaster and we're considering doing one, but it wouldn't have a set weekly schedule or anything. It would be a once in a while thing.

So, would you be interested in listening to an RE podcast? What would you like to hear us talk about? Let me know!

I'd be interested! I think hearing, not just reading, what other people have to say about the series is a great idea. Sometimes its simply better to hear about issues and talk them out.

I think one of the key things that will get discussed will be the change in style in 5...but I'd like to hear people's thoughts on Degeneration, feelings on where the plot can go, things about 1.5, etc. There's a lot of topics general conversation will make on their own.

I'd give it a go.
I'd be good to maybe throw up a topic, offer some opinion, and then take discussions which people can submit via email or on the boards or something, which can be commented on in the next episode.

I was thinking of making this primarily a video podcast. Not showing us, but rather the things we discuss. It would also allow me to do some interesting beta footage while we comment on it

I think that could be a podcast all on its own: comparing the betas to the actual games. 1.5 would be the bigger one, but I'm sure people would like to talk about 3.4 and how it varied so drastically from 4.

Thats not a bad idea But I think this first one will be paired down a bit. Just so we can test the waters and see what people like, and what they don't like.

I'm 100% sure that people would like to see it. Learn about beta material in an interactive way it's always entertaining. Besides you can explain things in the podcast like cronology, relations between characters, or even show rare demos and such.

I'd like it... wait, what am I saying?... I'd LOVE it =D

I think this is an awesome idea and don't know why it's never been done before now, the idea of showing what people discuss is a really good plan and could show stuff which some people have never seen before or havent been able to find to watch so i'm all for the idea guys

It´s a great idea, it think with the E3 and all, you can do a short test about RE5, the new trailers, what people think about the game, the direction the series is taking...

That would be great! Even if its not in the podcast I think we should have something along the lines of a price guide. That way we can help prevent people (like me) from spending too much on a possibly inauthentic item.

I would love the idea and this would force me to get an ipod. I think you could post topics before you actually do each one and members could sent in questions or comments that you read or discuss. It would also be great to introduce features that you have on the site like the true story behind biohazard. I love that feature and in fact it got me hooked on this site.

You don't need an ipod to listen to podcasts. You can just play them off your computer like any other audio file.
