You've made another good point. Well, it is tough to say...RE3 Epilogue shows Claire run off without much regard for Leon or Sherry. Wesker's Report shows Leon turn Sherry over to the government without (any mentioned) checking on her again.

The storylines for most of the characters just hit a deadend at some point, and I believe that is what most of us want some resolution to in "Degen" and "RE5." It has been hinted that we'll finally see some of those loose ends tied up.

But with Capcom, I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed and believe it when I see it.

Well in RE4 there was a moment when Salazar called Leon "Mr. Scott"....so eh...I dunno. The name really isn't that important to me since we already know who the hell he is. And I feel for you Jill's Boob...but sadly old rookie Leon is never coming back. There is no place for un-tough guys in the RE mainstream now.

I wouldn't have said Leon was untough in RE2, he seemed overly trained in his role as a Police officer to me, and didn't seem particularly over-awed by the situation he was in.

True...but by that token so did Claire. A college student turned one woman monster killer and ultra babysitter. I don't know which was worse....CV Claire or re4 Leon.

I'd say CV claire, at least Leon had the kop out of excuse of "Oh he's a Secret Agent MUAHA", so at least to an extent you could cheat and say that he'd be adequately trained for said RE4 situation *laughs*, and in RE2 I suppose as a trained officer he could objectively look at the situations and act

Claire must be a borderline sociopath considering all she did with minimal training.

Claire's excuse: She's Chris's sister, which gives her super powers of her own. Leon had six years to train for his agent job...no wonder he was so damn good. And just because Ashley was his new mission probably doesn't mean she was his only mission for the government. He and Krauser were familiar with each other so he probably did a few other one man Rambo type missions before.

Yes, he and Krauser single handedly laid waste to Vampires in Romania, Mummys in Egypt and Nazi's in Germany. :p

And as often with side kicks, Krauser got tired of taking Leon's hero shit and joined the enemey....only it was too late to join with Nazis so he joins with the next best thing in Wesker.

I'm curious about the new military group in Degen....it sort of reminds me of that group from the books. They'll probably end up dead of course but hey...a decent body count could be nice.

They'll probably get wiped out, and come back as zombies for the obligatory "I CAN'T KILL MY COMRAD...f*ck it" *BLAM* scene.

*Can't believe I mentioned Nazi Germany without making a Bionic Commando reference, I feel ashamed*

What did their kevlar vests say? S.R.T. (special response team) or something like that...

Maybe they're some sort of skilled airport S.W.A.T. unit? Yes, they're surely zombie fodder, with the sexy blonde S.R.T. girl being the damsel in distress for:

                      "Kennedy. Leon S Kennedy."

I wouldn't be suprised of that happening whatsoever.
ALthough since Capcom love to flog a dead horse, they might as well throw in Ada for "sexual tension" to boot.

Ugh...I hope not. Ada is one of my favorite characters...when she isn't around Leon. I've ranted about me not liking their random, I'm going to love you even after not seeing you for years type thing. Besides...with Claire giving Leon that wink and that blonde lady now added to the list...I think there are ample chances at having sexual tension.

Wait...Krauser said he was killed a plane crash. Airport. Airports have planes, sometimes.

Nah...that was 2 years before re4...and I assume that might have been a helicopter. It never really stated what kind of vehicle it was though...

I would love to see Krauser again but...he's probably dead.

Saw the cutscene again, he mentions a crash but not what it was, could be a car crash, plane crash, could even have been a computer crash for all we know. Always thought Krauser was a bit of a hollow character *geddit...ah im wasted here* but admittedly the full boss fight *not the Knife fight* was pretty damn good first time round if you were low on ammo.

I guess HUNK will no doubt be in the game, god knows why people get so fanatical over masked characters though *Cough*Master Chief*Cough*
