If I had a dollar for every time I've heard that story over the past 9 years, I'd have enough money to offer a price no owner of 1.5 could refuse.

I understand perfectly. Your wording assured us that it wasn't the complete disc, since it doesn't have "NEW GAME", Elza and Leon selection screen or anything else like that stuff you mentioned. The video you speak of with Leon saying "Thats just friggin great" is only available on the complete disc. Just drop it, and move on.

With regards to the original topic, I can say that I would genuinely consider any serious amount somebody owning a version of HotGens Resident Evil GBC port could ask for it.

Out of all the beta's and cancelled games i've seen over the years, that is the one i'd absolutely love to own.

Someone may have it. If they do they almost certainly also have an NDA meaning there ass would be sued into bankrupcy and prison for releasing it to, really, a bunch of folk whose gratitude is about as long lasting as an erection at a naked beach populated by naked fat hair men covered in warts.

Which is the main problem in getting hold of these things. Sure, folks have them. May even wanna release them. But how many people are willing to spend large sums of there own cash to release...so you can get arrested and sued? And work on the idea that the people who own these things have a modicum of intelligence and therefore will trace you.

Even if they don't you've cut yourself off from any more information and demos, since you violated an NDA and everyone knows you can't be trusted now by a legally binding document, let alone your own word.

If other communitys are willing to cooperate with each other, which I highly doubt possible.
It's a shame, Capcom deem 1.5 a failure, and even if we got a undoubtfully impossible amount of money, won't they just decline it?

Unless someone finds 1.5, releases it (which is doubtful due to legal issues), what are we to do? Nothing. We can do nothing.

And I doubt Capcom would be kind enough to release as a bonus.

Bobelvago is a previously banned member, Dark Mario. Who was banned for being a total ranting idiot, claming I own a "graveyard" prototype of RE1 (which I don't). Something that doesn't exist outside of Capcom's offices, or at all. Its certainly not with a journalist.

As for Ultra Glior, I don't want to speak about this person anymore. They are a banned user, who was removed because of the lies they spread and MSN communications that were directed towards myself, Canivol and a few other THIA members, not because we suspect they were Peter.

...what makes you say that? Well, other than the fact some of the folks who worked on it claimed it did because it was too actiony (not like RE3, RE4 or RE5) or too blue (what?).

I'm not expecting the greatest game in the world. Honestly my main desire to play 1.5 comes from the story than the actual game, so I'm good no matter what. But I do think 1.5 would have been pretty good. I'm more intimidated by some of the cutscenes from 1.5 than I am from the RE5 videos. I think there may have been some balance issues left in the game, though.

It's the same engine, with body armour, and blood after being bitten staying on the face, with more monsters and big BOOM! How CAN it be bad? Sorry.

But this is what makes me think Capcom deems it a failure, they wouldn't scrap it because it was too much like RE1 (which from videos, is bull), maybe they thought occurences were random, or the story was going to fast, or the game was too slow, or all together a pile of rubbish.

Though, I can't comment on that since I have no idea how the game plays.

I doubt 1.5 will suck, honestly. It may not be as good as many would like to believe, but suck? Nah. The creators never said it was horrible, just that it wasn't quite what they were hoping for. But really, people misunderstand a lot of the intentions of the 1.5 community. Many people bash us for claiming 1.5 is better than BH2, but most of us don't do that, or if they do they really shouldn't since nobody has played it. A lot of us do like the look of it better, and think the concept sounds better, but at this point I think the true allure for the most of us is the simple idea of an alternate reality of BH2 and the curiosity. My main interest is seeing all the differences, all the beta elements, things planned and just simply how it all played out. I don't care if it does happen to turn out to not be good at all, I'd be disappointed in that aspect but I definitely would be completely happy and content to finally have the final beta and see it all first hand and have my mind rest.

Sadly though, it seems the final beta will be harder to get. The version Curator reviewed is a higher possibility I believe, but we'll just have to see.
