Your first time playing Resident Evil

The first time I played Re was when I was 14. My story is similar to Dot's as I was renting a playstation and was looking for two games for it. I saw the box for RE and thought this most be a fun shoot em up game. I also got Doom and when I went to play Re I couldn't even figure out how to shoot and got bored with the game quickly and just played doom. Luckly my friend had the game and explained how to play it. I bought the game off of him and have been hooked ever since.

I think i was maybe about 6 or 7, i wasn't scared, i really liked it! Actually later on a friend showed me D which scared the hell out of me and i played RE to relax! It was a friend of my mums son who had it and showed it to me (RE that is) and talked me through the first few bits. He lent me the game and i played through it, and the rest is history.

My fathers friend who used to get games from the Philippines brought back Biohazard before Resident Evil came out in Australia. He called and said "you guys have to see this", having the then new Playstation too.

So Dad, my older brother and I piled into the car and went to visit. We usually did, this was just a good excuse to go again. Blown away by it all. I got Resident Evil from another friend of my fathers, a local game distributer (dad's a mechanic. He has alot of friends in alot of businesses) maybe a few days before it came out. I was about 12 at the time.

I was around 5-7 when I tried to play RE2. I never made it to the RPD.
From then on I just watched my cousin play them until REmake came out. Then I played all the way through RE2. Then I started playing all the other games in the series.

i was 8 the first time i saw a RE game. I was visiting my sister in chicago, and my brother-in-law just bought it, i sit and i watch him play, i was so f!"$%&ng scared!!!

when i was 10 my brother (the one i hate cause he's evil!!!!) play RE2, and i watch him play it too!!! that's when i decided to buy the RE games!!

when i finally play it i was 11, and my friends play it with me!!! we were so excited!!!!

My first time playing any Resident Evil movie was when I was 10 or eleven, I'm not sure, but it was Resident Evil Code Veronica on the PS2. I had picked it up from Gamestop because I thought it looked interesting. I started to play it and was really confused about the control scheme and got really mad at it and liked stopped playing it for a few weeks, then picked it back up and beat it the next few days. While playing there were things that kind of confused me (IE Umbrella's background, who Claire and Chris were, etc.), so I went to the store to get some more of the series.

And the rest, they say, is history.

My first time, I was 7 or 8, 2nd grade, and it was the Remake. My friend had talked highly about it, so I decided I'd ask my parents for it. I forget why, but I had to wait until my birthday, which was 4 months away. I was SO MAD that I had to wait till then, but I held together. The day finally comes, I receive a nice, 7x5in DVD shaped box. I don't even hesitate to open it. I unwrap the paper only to discover SPIDER-MAN for the GCN. WTF. The rest of the day, I was pretty quiet to say the least. End of the party. Mom says " Oh, this is from your Aunt." She handed me a present, same size as my previous upset. I open it to see the "only for" tab in the upper left corner, and Jill moments from becoming a delicious meal. Finally! Needless to say, the gamecube was on within moments. I run the game, choose Chris, and watch the opening cinematic. I go through the game, up to the imfamous zombie encounter. Then, I promptly began screaming like a bitch. The End.

Yes, I'm positive. He used his old Ultra_Glior account to harass me, and used it to send SinValentine a friend request on a social networking site. It was revealed that the account was Peters. The IP for God_Daniel and this new UltraGlior account are the same, and God_Daniel has been banned permanently for sending harassing PM's to moderators. Even if it was not Peter (which is highly unlikely) people don't get a second chance once they come in here and start acting like an idiot. Once you are permanently banned here, you used up all your chances prior through infractions.

As for signing him up for spam. I don't even have the time to work on the site these days. Why the heck would I spend all my waking hours signing him up for spam, when he just re-registers a new email every time for a THIA account? It would be pointless. He has been banned here a total of 50 some times under different accounts. Why on earth would you trust anything he says?

I can confirm that you're 100% wrong, Dot. I've known Ultra my whole life, we live on the same street. He's most definitely not this 'peter anderson' fellow. Guess that means he's still out there somewhere.

My first time playing RE was a few days after Ultra_Glior got it. I was ill off school one day and i was round his house because i couldn't stay at home alone so i was left with one of the neighbours to take care of me. It was my first time playing a proper 3D game before, and i couldn't get used to the 'tank' controls, and ended up walking backwards most of the way. I was killed by the first zombie, gave up, and tried Tomb Raider instead. I died at the first wolves. RE didn't really scare me at all, infact i absolutely loved watching it played and trying to do it myself. Just the kind of kid i was i guess.

i was about 8 or 9 and my dad was playin RE3 on the gamecube so i tryed it out actually got further than him and then i got killed by zombie dogs

I was ~10 and my first ever played game from resident evil was resident evil 3 - nemesis. After that i immediately bought re1 and later re2.
I was always playing and my lil bro (he was 7 years back then) was watching me and was shitting pants more than me LOL Well, The nemesis was like freaking scary. Everytime i saw him my heart was shaking

Anyways, later i tried resident evil : gun survivor (psx) and i didn't really liked it because of 1st person, but still i completed it all.

And then i tried Resident Evil Code Veronica X and i was amazed. This game is my most loved one. I mean the storyline ect is superior. Steve, Claire, Wesker, Alexia OMG. ( i love then game but i still haven't had A rank in it

The first BH game I played was BH2, back in the days when it was just released back in 98.

Those were truly good times for BH fans and I wish I could relive those days.

1996 RE 1 for Playstation. Even though it was K18+ game they sold it to little kid like me... that could never happen nowdays.

Yea I bought Re 2 for gamecube back in January because I wanted to replay the game again. After I beat it several times i got Re 3 and beat that 8 times. It brought back so many memories. I'm currently playing Deadly Silence and it reminds me of when I would play the game in my friends basement.
