    You can't disable the timer, where Ada comes in is where the trial ends.

    I also don't think it's possible to get the "L" key, but I'm not sure on that one.

      I see, so it's impossible to get past the "L" key part. No item mod's via gameshark?

          I'm not sure... I mean, theres the "P" key which works, then the room just before the library is locked, the letter "L" engraved under the handle. The key is in the office on the 2nd floor, but as soon as you obtain the key, Ada appears and shoots. But I've seen a video on youtube of a completely untextured room on this preview version (maybe room swaps?... I don't know ). Personally I would just like to bypass this and see if anything was developed past the library. Technically, there should be more of the game available, just locked out with "so and so is not available in this preview". I seem to remember someone posting about a gameshark code to remove the time limit, I think it was on Bioflames but I can't seem to find anything about it anymore. Sorry I know I'm asking a lot.

              Hmm... So I'm about to try this "All Doors Unlocked" code.
              And thank you all for helping me out, I REALLY appreciate it.

              Well, the codes don't seem to work on my game, so I guess there isn't much I can do. Thanks a lot all of you for your time and effort

                You mentioned it had a timer it shouldn't have one at all what is your disc id?
                SCUS, SCES, SLES, SLPS code? you probably have one of the PAL magazine demo discs.

                  SLED-00977 7081682 Pal. It came with the Resident Evil 1 Directors Cut edition. I just played for a good 30 minutes and nothing happened so maybe it's just my memory playing tricks on me. Theres also the "S" Key, I wonder if it was just put there to stop players from progressing, like a cheap fix... But knowing the things people can do today, I wouldn't doubt the possibility to bypass these small problems. By the way, I may be posting a little too much in this "Post a RE Question" thread... sorry if I'm off-topic or something, just let me know.

                    I posted the above codes thinking you had the jap trial

                    as you mentioned you had it in this post that's why they won't work.
                    Use Marvin's item modifier codes with different values your bound to find the keys sooner or later http://www.zone.ee/ballistyx/?id=codes

                      Ah, thanks so much I'll try these now.

                      Well the Modifier code doesn't work so good. It only changes the properties, but the game still recognizes it as a blank space I think. Even for the "P" Key which is obtainable through normal means doesn't work. No icon or use available for most items, only a description. The Quantifier (whatever this is?) crashes the game before it even loads. But I think I'm going to call it quits for one day. Thanks a lot for helping me out, I really do appreciate it

                        I think I'm losing my mind.

                        On RE2 in scenario B, after the helicopter crash, is there mean't to be fire?

                        Cause in scenario B with Leon there is no fire, but with Claire there ist.

                        I only ask because its been so long since I played RE2 and there being no fire doesn't feel right.
                        Finally playing 1.5. Woo-Hoo!!!

                          Yep, your right. It's different for both scenario's if I remember correctly. Claire's game has a burning scrap-metal derelict of a helicopter after the cutscene.
