RE2 Platinum Settings

Hello, i'm sorry if this is an inconvinence but I recently got RE2 Platinum for the PC and am wondering what would be the optimum settings for vista home professional 32-bit edition.

I ask because it keeps on lagging on cutscenes and doors which is a tad annoying.

Yeah, I had that problem too. I can't even get it to install properly! It keeps sending the files to the Users > Application Data folder.

What about settings for XP? I can never get it to let me load a save. Sometimes it will show my saves, but it won't load them. Sometimes it won't even show my saves.
