I like at the end of the article, where some of the staff offered their thoughts on the paper-thin plot of RE4. Even they noticed the flawed & cliche-filled story.

I suggest you remove those rose-tinted sunglasses. All of the Resident Evil games' plots have been paper-thin, flawed, and cliche-filled. Just because you liked them more than RE4's doesn't change that fact.

If you polled a large number of RE fans that have played RE0 - RE4, a majority would find that RE4 has the weakest plot. I was just pointing out that even a Capcom staff member ridiculed it.
