    Jesus.... o.O

Barry's the same age as Barry, actually... they'll be both 47 ou 48 in RE5.

Difference is, I'm sure that Barry will be looking his age.

Wesker cannot age. His fan girls will never allow a wrinkle or grey hair to taint his majestic head. Although Wesker must be sad Barry is no longer pretty. He might stop using poor Barry for his...personal purposes now.

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility for Barry to appear in RE5, although if Jill's in the game, it's highly doubtful. RE5 won't be a widescale reunion.

Could be. But video game characters rarely age.

I hope the twist ending is Barry showing up behind Wesker and putting a lethal, anti-virus .44 bullet through his brain.

Chris: But Barry, how'd you kill him?
                Barry: I have THIS!

I'm waiting for the suprise twist where Barry is Spencer or some random crap like that.

Barry'll be able to easily kick ass as long as he kept himself in shape. Would be nice to see him around again. One of the forgotten S.T.A.R.S. He also needed a bigger part in 3.

                      Barry Burton

As much as I loved Barry, something tells me that his love for his family will keep him out of future games, I assume he as already retired and lives happily ever after with his family, leaving the battle against umbrella to the more youthful Chris and Jill. It seems as though Barry as been much of an outcast in Resident Evil games since the original. I was glad to see him in the remake altough I wished they would have gave him more a beard like in the original. Other than his non-canon appearence in Gaiden, I was happy to see his cameo in RE 3, as well as a minor reference to his hand cannon in RE 4. Although, I must admit that his epilogue in RE 3 worried me a bit. Barry sent his family to canada to be safe, and his wife says " We'll be alright..."
Perhaps they'll make something of it, but most likely not. Maybe we'll get lucky and have a cameo in RE 5. Jill's "funeral" would be a good spot.
"One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

If he had a brain, he'd be dangerous.
