Looks similar to my interpretation of Sergei's mutation.

What was with that stupid tentacle that fused his hands together? That really bothered me.

I thought Sergei was ok, not too harmful to the continuity I have a few problems with how apparently everyone was in that mansion at the same time but I can live with that.

As for his mutation I did not think much of it at all but I can see what they were trying to do with his personality based mutation which may be a plot point for Wesker at some point.

Well, it wasn't just Sergei. Look at Morpheus, he was a prime example of personality affecting the mutation. Obsessed with beauty, so he looked beautiful when he transformed. Of course, then the G-virus kicked in. I'm not sure how that applies to Marcus, he just resembled a mass of leeches. Unless of course, it was the Queen Leech.

Morpheus is the guy from "Dead Aim" (or one of those PS2 RE games), I think. I used to always be confused when people referenced him as well. I thought they were talking about the Matrix guy.

As for Sergei: IMO, he was a calm, single-minded villain of little note. There was potential to make him into more, but REUC seemed like a rushed product. I felt some crazy anticipation for that game, but the story just ended up as...meh.

An enjoyable, simplistic game. But very light on story, considering the potential for some thorough "chronicling." (Pardon the pun.)

Sergei to me was kind of boring. I thought his bodygaurds were a lot more interesting. He seemed, IMO, to be a villain put together quickly, there was no real depth to his character like there is for Wesker.

A good villain? Yes. Could I see him doing anything for the series? Nope.

I finally read the post and must say that was an indept look at Sergei. He was an ok character and probably doesn't get as much credit as other villians because he was in UC. As said earlier the fact that his presence in the game adds to it the RE storyline without hurting it, makes him oK IMO.

As much as I wanted him to succeed, I'm afraid that his sole raison d'ĂȘtre was to boost Wesker's ego and subsequently, the legion of rabid fangirls that blindly flock to his banner.
