It was one BIG god damn frame, man. In a series like Resident Evil with characters floating around ALIVE all over the place, killing off a character(let alone a main, if not THE main character of the series) is a big friggin' deal.

the thing is that there's already a bigger topic discussing popular opinions on jill valentine's character and her outcome. You could have easily carried this discussion in there as well.

Also, if you ask me wesker's line is referring to Sheva, rather then Jill, since its followed right after Chris's "we're partners" line to Sheva, it just makes more sense that way, Wesker being "sarcastic" a bit and all in his tone.

Fair enough, if it's that big of a deal then do what you have to do...I just thought my theory was different then others and didn't want it to get buried under other theories.

Thank you for adding your own idea to the discussion. It might just be as simple as that, but that's not interesting enough for me. I like to think outside the box, and the way that the trailers were presented lead me to believe something entirely different than what is the 'obvious.'

Takeuchi said we'd see who Tube Girl was in trailer two. Then we were told it would be at Captivate. Now, nothing. Why should we expect her to appear in the game now if we've seen nothing of her in any marketing since?

You could be right. Early trailers may well be of a prior build, much like the original trailers for 4, with Leon hallucinating.

But really i'm trying to make a general point about all the speculation going on, like I think you may have been; it's interesting to hear everyones thoughts but there's no point defending them to the point you're shooting down everyone else's ideas. Because, next march, we're all bound to be proven wrong on many various assumptions.

I dunno, i'm just tired by the amount of "no killinz jills i wonts beleafs it coz she rulz" talk that a single shot of a tombstoneis causing. Yeah, either way it's a big plot twist, but it seems every thread regarding the new trailers has turned in to Jill talk. Yawn!
