Jill won't be killed off-screen. She might be dead in RE5, but remember that RE6 might be a prequel where Jill is the protagonist, and she gets killed at the end. I honestly don't know. We can only wait.

The only problem with that is...the game would seem a bit pointless to me. Playing all the way through when you know she's going to die. Sure the story would be interesting but...*shrugs* I would almost rather he be killed in RE5 and have it stop there.

I do like Jill... but if she's dead, she's dead. I'm not convinced one way or the other just yet. But as others have noted, it wouldn't hurt to have one or more well known characters kicking the bucket. It adds drama.
