Is Sherry supposed to be in RE5? Ever since this whole Jill/Birdwoman/Wesker/Spencer thing Sherry seems to be somewhat forgotten. I mean, if she is in RE5 how is she supposed to fit into a story that has so many things happening? Wouldnt they have confirmed her character by now if she was in it? If she isnt in this thats to bad because I really wanted her character to make a return to the series.

I was really disappointed when they showed Jill's tombstone at the end of the TGS trailer. Not because Jill was dead, but rather what it meant for the likelihood of the bird woman and/or tube woman being Sherry. I'm fairly certain that the big "twist" in RE5 is going to be that Jill is the bird woman and/or tube woman (depends on if they're the same person or not, but if they're not, Jill is most certainly one of them).
There's still the blonde girl in the red dress, I suppose. She could be Sherry, but I kind of get the feeling she'll just be a random villager (or tourist, maybe?) who somehow managed to not get infected, or is a prisoner of the infected, for whatever reason.
Best case scenario for me would be that Jill is really dead, she isn't brought back at all, and Sherry is actually the bird woman/tube woman. I'm not feeling very confident about that scenario at this point, however.Last edited by Archelon; 10-11-2008, 10:31 PM.

I have to believe that Sherry is the young blonde woman in the red dress. It's just too convenient. It was obvious even before the Valentine tombstone. And the woman in the tube was a blonde, in both the leaked picture (the upper body shot) and the glimpse we were given at the end of last summer's trailer.
EDIT: I never once thought that the tube woman was Jill, but I've always thought that the Mystery Woman was. I've also thought that the tube woman (dressed in all black) is also the Mystery Woman (clad in all black beneath the cloak). The young, frail, abused blonde in Chris' arms IS Sherry - I believe that 100%.
So, in summary: I am really $%!#ing confused.Last edited by Jill's Boob; 10-11-2008, 11:01 PM.

Putting contrast to one of the frames I could see that the girl had red eyes, in addition to a costume similar to Ada Wong.
The bird woman appears in a jeep near the boy (he was using computer in the last trailer), this jeep is the same style as that which comes out in these frames the blonde girl.

I found this little ditty as well. Someone has gone a little overboard. I can't claim this. Was this your work, Jill Lover?

As for the blonde, she is nowhere near a jeep. She is on a balcony ledge, just like in the downloadable destop image on RE.com. And her having red eyes has nothing to do with red tinted lenses on a mask. Are her eyes really red? Or is that just the quality of the screencap? And if they are red...has she just been infected? Because when the villagers are infected in the trailers, even the whites of their eyes become red, not just the cornea.
The screengrab layout you did was very impressive though.Last edited by Jill's Boob; 10-11-2008, 11:14 PM.

After watching these latest trailers, Sherry Birkin no longer feels right to me. I used to be in the camp which felt the woman in the plague doctor get-up was her, but now I'm leaning more towards Jill Valentine. I've got to hand it to Capcom this time around. They are doing a great job of keeping us in suspense.
