Before the TGS trailer i was 100% sure that Sherry is the bird woman but now i have doubts, maybe she is maybe she isn't.

After watching these latest trailers, Sherry Birkin no longer feels right to me. I used to be in the camp which felt the woman in the plague doctor get-up was her, but now I'm leaning more towards Jill Valentine. I've got to hand it to Capcom this time around. They are doing a great job of keeping us in suspense.

Same boat here. I'd guess now that the woman in the red outfit is Sherry, and that seems to be fairly early in the game that he rescues her. Then Jill is the mystery woman.

I think that sherry is still in it but also maybe jill is as well. this would be a good way to solve what happened to sherry but without knowing what happens in degeneration i cannot tell if it will tie into the game. as i hate spoilers iim gonna have to wait til the movie comes out. maybe its revealed sherry is actually in africa as part of a relief group and the dress is in actuality later in the game

Jill's a brunette the woman in the tube isn't old enough looking to be Jill either.
Sherry also has blue eyes Jill's are Hazel, I seem to remember them being completely brown in resident evil 3 as well which was probably a common mistake on there part not being able to differentiate hazel from brown ever since resident evil 3 her eyes have been blue.

Oh wow....when did that happen?!

But yeah that comparison is nice. And the woman in the tube....its not like the lighting is exceedingly good either. If she was experimented on, her eye color could have changed. We'll find out in a few months though.

Yeah, I've been getting in petty arguments too much. Which is my own fault. Ever since I broke by leg last month mountain biking, I've been spending too much time indoors and going stir crazy. I guess maybe it's been causing me to be too aggressive in some of my responses. I learned my lesson.

Anyway, I am hopeful this game is really, truly aiming to tie up loose ends. So, that would mean Spencer is the old man, Sherry is the young blonde, and the Mystery Woman is a brain washed Jill. Well, at least the first two...Mystery Woman/Tube Woman/Jill's death - those I am completely clueless about.

If Sherry is indeed the blonde woman, then that would rule her out as a candidate for "tube girl". So now we've got two other things - the woman in the tube, who I believe might be Jill. Wouldn't it be nice if Chris was pitted against his former partner? Forced to kill her.

Sherry should've appeared in RE4 with a better story/plot instead of the president's daughter mission. I don't know if Sherry makes sense to be in RE5 but since I've heard Chris saying the line Leon's Report in the last trailer, I'm not that sure.

I can't recall how exactly were the producer's words about the well-known female character returning in this game... most of us believed that it was referred to Sherry but now with all this plot twist of Jill's tombstone we are kinda lost. That trailer didn't make other than bring us more and more questions...
