I dont know if this has been discussed before, if so forgive me, but did anyone notice when Wesker was sliding Chris across the table(3:55) Chris was wearing different clothing. It looked like a S.T.A.R.S. uniform, like the one he had in RE1.
It was also the part where Spencer was shown on the floor. So, is this a flashback and if so than I guess Spencer died before RE5?

It's not a STARS uniform, actually. It's the standard BSAA uniform that you see all the other BSAA members (besides Chris and Sheva) wearing.

yeah, I just noticed that right now. I got confused because it looks alot like the RE1 uniform

He seems to be more armoured than earlyier in the events so it seems he is preparing for wesker or any BOWs he would encounter.

Where you can appreciate that Chris has the uniform of the STARS? Maybe you have mistaken what has been the angle.

Chris is wearing a different shirt and a tactical vest (and it looks like different boots).

But he is still wearing the same earpiece and gloves from his other appearances in RE5. Plus, Wesker is wearing the same Matrix-leather outfit from every other screengrab of him in RE5.

My guess is that this is the final showdown at the end of the game, as opposed to a flashback. Wesker has killed Spencer, and Chris shows up to ruin the moment. Wesker decides to finally kill Chris too.

I never understood why Wesker even killed Spencer. It's not like he really has anything to offer anymore that Umbrella's gone and Wesker has all the info on Umbrella anyway. What threat was Spencer that Wesker had to kill him?

Maybe he kills him due to hatred? He did betray the guy 10 years prior and effectively help to end Spencer's reign over Umbrella.

Or maybe it is just an example of Wesker's sadistic nature? I mean, he did lead his S.T.A.R.S. mates to their deaths, and murdered Enrico in cold blood (and attempted to shoot Rebecca at point blank range).

The guy's life has been devoted to death...killing a feeble old man is just another day at the office.

This is all, of course, assuming Spencer is actually dead in that scene. He could simply be sleeping to conserve his energy for one last sniper battle with Wesker.

That outfit certainly does look a lot like his RE1 S.T.A.R.S. get-up...but, I don't think it is.

So, Chris changes into some different cloths during the game? I just thought it was a flashback since Sheva is not there and his different clothing.
