So, Chris changes into some different cloths during the game? I just thought it was a flashback since Sheva is not there and his different clothing.

Well, that's been a trend in RE games, sort of...the character's appearance changes somehow by the end of the game. Examples:

Leon's bandages in RE2
Jill's tactical gear in RE3
Leon's tactical gear in RE4

Et cetera.

Chris's outfit does look different but not sure that it is a Flashback. As far as Wesker killing Spencer, if it is him, Wesker left Umbrella the first time to get information on him and couldn't find anything. I guess Wesker just needs to finish him off to be the last man standing.

Chris does have some skeen upgrades during the game. In the Cave gameplay video he is wearing some new gear.

i have no idea. maybe its a fluke and the RE1 STARS outfit is leaked via an unlockable. i dunno but im just making a guess.

it would be cool to play through part of RE1 as a flash back though
