Fun Fact About Mystery Woman's Outfit

I haven't heard this mentioned yet (although I may just have missed out), but I was browsing around the web and happened to find this on Wikipedia's page on the Black Death.

I guess it's a recreation of a plague doctor's outfit.


It apparently contained some familiar gear:

-A primitive gas mask in the shape of a bird's beak. The mask also included red glass eyepieces, which were thought to make the wearer impervious to evil.
-A long, black overcoat.
-Leather breeches.

Sadly mystery woman is lacking the traditional hat and cane... but I guess those would be more suited to her if her true identity was Lisa Trevor *gasp*

I just thought it was a cool fact, and figured I'd bring it up here in case someone else hadn't found it yet (or was I the only one...?)

A common belief at the time was that the plague was spread by birds.

Mental images of birds circling above Chris and Sheva , similar to that scene of birds flying above Alice in RE3 movie are in my brain now.
