I've always been curious as to what would happen in a battle between the Ganado and the zombies. I suspect the plagas would render them resistant at least to the t-virus, and in theory at least the ganados are better armed and smarter than zombies. On the other hand you need a plagas symbiote to infect someone where as a zombie needs a single bite, so the ganados would be heavily out numbered. Along with the fact that some infected will rise again after being taken down as Crimson Heads, or mutate into Lickers, and I think it would be a fun battle.
Especially if it was set in a city and you were dumped down in the middle of the battle. And, of course, just because plagas are likely resistant to to the t-virus doesn't mean thery're immune, so freakish combo monsters might appear.

Yes mutant zombies... even better. (were all dead.)
But I think zombies are still harder to kill because they didn't feel pain. You shoot a Ganado and they would stop and grab where you shot. The zombies just keep coming.
But with a hybrid we could have mutant paugas that didn't feel pain and in one bite could infect you... (yep, were all dead)
