Question about esoteric BH stuff and canon

Hello, I'm new here, and this is my first thread. I just had a few questions about some of the more esoteric RE stuff. I'm a bit of a Star Wars fan with its expanded universe so I tend to have a bit of an inclusionist mindset, though I don't imagine any of the stuff I'm asking about is canon. Wikipedia says there's a few Biohazard novels that were released in Japan, "The Beast of the Northern Seas", "To the Liberty", and "Rose Blank".

The first I mentioned is said to have been authored by Kyū Asakura and the staff of Flagship, which I would imagine gives it some weight, no? Has anyone here read these novels, and if so, would you mind giving a brief synopsis?

I'm also curious if anyone has completed the Confidential Report mobile games, and if they have plots of any substance? If so, would you mind giving a brief synopsis of those as well?

Finally, has anyone translated the Japanese in-game files for the series, specifically where, if at all, they diverge from the english translations? And can anyone tell me what the anglicized japanese word for the progenitor is?

I apologize if any of this has been previously discussed, I did a search but missed it if it was.

I know one file deviation is in Survivor, where the English version states that Nicholai from RE3 wrote a report, when it was a mistranslation.

It was not a mistranslation. The file was in two parts, which the Japanese version didn't make clear.

First part is a field report by Nicholai, the other is a report by an Umbrella R&D team.

These titles are as canon as SD Perry's original novels as far as I know.

Progenitor virus in Japanese is 始祖ウィルス. ウィルス = virus. 始祖 = founding, first, progenitor etc. whichever you prefers.

Ha, just recently I was considering making a topic regarding those three books. I seem to recall reading somewhere a long time ago that they were going to be translated into German. Does anyone know if anything ever came of that? I was hoping that a German translation might mean that an English one was not too far behind.
