I think Sherry would make an interesting protagonist, maybe if she had some sort of superpowers. I think it would be a little too much if there were 2 leading females of the series working together, so maybe a new character as a sidekick for Sherry. Having Sherry as a protagonist is actually not a bad idea, it could explain what has been happening to her all these years and her relationship with Wesker. Hey theres an idea, have an RE game with Wesker as the main character and Sherry as his sidekick! An RE were the protagonist is the villain.
