    I highly doubt it. I mean, since it's not even written yet, they haven't even gotten into the pre-production, which means no cast list yet.

      Ok. My full opinion on the upcoming foruth movie is this;

      1. I didn't like the films, but the quality of the writing has actually gotten better.

      2. I don't like Alice, but I am curious about how the clone army is going to be used.

      3. I don't like what we've been shown about movie Wesker so far, but I am curious to see how much game Wesker influences him in the next film.

      4. I don't like their use of the game characters in general, but I'd like to see who they use next.

      5. I am curious to see if they drastically improve or utterly flunk out.

      I seriously have not thought much about the films, but I'm not one just to fully dismiss things before I've seen them... Unless they look and sound really, REALLY bad. <.<

        See, that's the thing about the clone army. I don't think they can do it. So, my hunch is that budget issues will prevent it from being done. But if somehow it DOES get done... It could be a very spectacular sight.

          I wonder... I don't think its too hard just to blue screen things today. Certainly that doesn't cost much.

          I do think it would be wise not to over-use it, though. I don't think they could move everywhere as a group... That probably wouldn't work. I'd like to see small groups of the clones and maybe only the whole group once or twice. It would be more dramatic that way.

            Yeah, but it would still be very time consuming to even have like, 4 Alices going through the same alleyway, let alone do it for prolonged periods of time. Because she'd have to do it 4 times, multiply by, say... 20 takes each... That's a good week spent on a one minute scene. Trust me, I've been to movie shootings, it's a long, tediously repetitive business. I loved it, and want to do it for the rest of my life, mind you, but nevertheless.

              I know. I'm into film making myself. Hopefully, they'll make good use of blue screen and some CG to touch things up. If there is one thing that impresses me about the film, its how they make things seem realistic. The fact that the monsters look real is an impressive feat. I mean, Lickers have to be the least realistic-looking creature in the world, but they made it happen.

                Yeah, the lickers were impressive. Particularly the one in the first one. It was so gorgeous. The tyrant in Extinction looked amazing too. I know half of it was makeup, not CGI but it still looked great.

                Still, it would be nice to see like a whole army of Alices roaming through Tokyo, just a legion of them. A wide shot is possible, I guess, if you get a crapload of skinny blonde chicks together. But any closeup would require some major after effects to splice Milla's face onto every one of them. Not that it hasn't been done before. That scene in Apocalypse where she's running down the building, that was a stunt double (who trained me in Karate ) with Milla's face spliced onto her head.

                  Except for the last 200 feet, where Milla got the balls to do it herself. I would freak, personally.

                  And she taught you karate? Awesome...

                    It's not the balls, it's the insurance issues, I'm sure.
                    I would've gladly done it myself. I love that kind of stuff.

                    And yes, she did. Also, the stunt double for Wolverine in the first X-Men movie taught me as well. They both teach in the same martial arts academy.

                    • I'm going to be honest and say the only reason why I liked RE4 was Ada. She's my favorite character, simple as that. I loved seeing her in action, and watching her character develop.

                      I would probably watch the fourth movie if Jensen Ackles is Leon. Boy is hottt.

                      • Leon is dead in the RE live action world. He was Jill's partner whose death made the newspaper in "Apocalypse," if I remember correctly.

                        And the only good army of Alice's is of this variety:

                        Alice & Leon both DEAD? Now that's what I call "Entertainment."

                        • Not that that article is actually readable on screen. But let's hope they stick by it.

                          • They can only really go downhill with this movie series, can't they? I mean, the next logical thing is Alice going to Japan to fight Wesker, who is not a Tyrant (and chubby D: ). Never mind that she's in America and Wesker, you know, isn't.

                            Maybe her clone army will make a bridge and get her to walk over the ocean. ;

                              For all we know, the movie could be focusing on Claire and the other survivors in Alaska.

                                You're funny.

                                All three movies have been focusing on that Mary Sue. They aren't suddenly going to focus on a character fans of the games would care about. It's going to be Alice and Wesker duking out out, whether we like it or not. At least, that's what the rumor mill turns out.
