Yeah, I think the one I'm referring to is serenity. It's not really a save room theme but it usually plays when you are near a typewriter or te merchant, They should be called "Relief or Safe" themes
This is 4's actual save theme
And this is the music you usually hear when you are near a typewriter, thus save room or "save area" music.

CODE: Veronica! It strikes the most memories when I first played it, and I just love it so much. But, RE2 is close behind, followed by RE1 and RE0... and omg... Overwhelming. Man, all the Save Room themes are so pretty, it's hard to rank them~ But, yes, CODE: Veronica for me.

^ See, that's why I loved RE3's theme. It was unforgiving.
It said "you're f***ed, this situation is bleak and it sucks -- now open the chest and save your game, you sexy woman."
This is another great theme from RE3...it's epic, really. No other way to describe it. The eeriness of the composition is astounding.

A lot of times the save themes are the last thing I hear when I finish up playing, because, I usually save right before I stop playing for whatever reason(except once when I left my PS2 on for like 5 hours because I was stuck in RE4 at the part where Leon and Ashley had to make their way through the big room in the castle where at the end you needed to turn the cranks to create a bridge over a body of water...lots of Ganados in there, no save points, and I had to leave).
So, lots of times, the thing I'm left with last is the save theme. It's reassuring, it's methodical, it makes me think happy thoughts and almost forget about the monsters trying to tear my face off right outside the door.

Back when I still played RE4 though, I didn't even bother with typewriters, I just saved at the ends of chapters.
