I think Jill is alive. Definately. They wouldn't just kill her off, she's too important to the series, and Capcom have hinted the same thing as well.

Plus, when has Capcom killed off an important character? Wesker and Ada both rose from the dead. I suppose you could argue Birkin might classify as such, but, really...player characters don't die. Capcom doesn't dare alienate any fans if they can avoid it.

Dunno, but can Steve be considered as an "important" character? After all, he was a playable character (for few minutes, but he still was) ;).

But really, as much as I like Jill (she's my favourite female char in RE universe ^^) I would really love to see Capcom finally kill someone important and not rise him/her from a grave in a sequel.

Nope. Not to me. Steve was a one-hit wonder (and a doofus), much like Carlos or Billy or Ashley.

Out of those 4 characters...the one I'd suspect has the greatest chance to ever come back would be Billy (if and only if, Rebecca ever made another appearance as a starring character).

well not entireally wesker has his body and he could resesitate him back to life (duh) all that, what i think, hurt him was he got knocked to teh wall by a vine, in his tyrant mode, most likely he fainted from severe fratures to his rib cage, witch might i add is painfull, very, witch causes him to faint, his blood pressure can drop, (anyones can) after having bones broken, pluss steve just tells claire that he love her, and "dies" in the heat of the moment claire doesnt even check for a pulse or any signs of death, and starts crying.

so no you dont know that steve is really dead, i think he just fainted from a severe injury, and more than likely will come back as a main character, like leon (hate). wesker probally stumbled apon steves boday and thought omfg a living body unconcious with the T-Vironica in him, lets take his body with, score, one more virus for his lil "sick collection"

i never thought that after RE2 hed come back as a games major player but look!! it sold millions, but yea i think steve is crucial to the future storyline of RE and will make a reappearance and will probally have the same story i just said

... We don't actually know this. Steve probably just changed back into his less-agressive human form because he was in a calm and stable mood all of a sudden. I doubt he can actually morph in and out of his monster form like Banner can the Hulk.

Then again, it wouldn't be all that farfetched, would it?
